  • The astounding Nicole Pesce, piano, joins Desert Overture Wind Symphony for an incredible performance of George Gershwin's masterpiece. This orchestration is actually pretty close to Ferde Grofé's original 1924 orchestration (which premiered the work at Carnegie Hall)--only missing violins, double bass, and a banjo.
Nicole Pesce is absolutely astounding as a pianist and performer, and BE SURE to watch her encore of FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE, which has both the symphony and audience on it's feet in joyous response.

I just checked her web site and she only plays in Arizona, i am in England and would love to see her in concert. Why only Arizona? She would be explosive if she did a gig with 2Cellos!! 3 Unbelievable virtuoso's on one stage!! What could go wrong!!!!!

She doesn't keep the rythm ! I have heard her on youtube in various concerts- the same. It adds chaos to her playing. Yes, the thechnic is amazing- but the sound is flat all over...too boring when I got used to her fast ability of playing.
