Your consistency on the brake pedal is seriously impressive Dave. I wish more people had that at Le Mans this week rather than using other cars as a brake pedal
I was quite happy to get through that with a 0x, nice respectful racing in our pack but a few hyper aggressive moves that just warrant leaving some space sometimes. Did find it quite funny that the 4 people ahead and 2 people behind me were on 2nd / one of multiple accounts..
Dave, I know you said the Supercars races are never populated when you're online, but I think they may be now, for a while at least, with the new Gen 3 cars. Any interest in putting in a 26-lapper at The Glen, with one pit-stop? If so, could you talk about how you do your fueling calculations and how you do any mid-race fuel changes, if they arise? Cheers, Sev
My word, that was just a viewing experience for me and it was hair raising.. the driver of that red car could turn it down a couple.. i dont know why its fun to run a smurf account and bully other cars like that.. low class, low class. Great race Dave, I am away from the rig another day but this combo was on my list to try, as well as the new Supercars!!..
lol i did the same thing yesterday, and it was my first time ever racing the porsche as i just got it. somehow managed to get 9th starting 10th but had 7 incidents
7x in a Pcup race is nothing to feel bad about. The racing can be incredibly clean most of the time but sometimes, it's a little more like a rugby match than other times!! For your first time, that's pretty impressive, honestly!
i agree, feels like i get better fb from the car in the wet. i just won this race in the rain in a community series. Had it been dry, i would have placed 6th at best
Hi Dave, Been watching your channel for many months now top content keep up the good work, looking for a keyboard and mouse tray for my new profile rig can you recommend any please thanks Steve
So scared of rain in this game, especially in PCup…since it’s twice as hard to drive in wet shouldn’t incident point count for 1/2 as what they do in dry?! Have you thought about redoing the slow down video you did from a couple seasons back now that they have “fixed” the slowdown system? Something tells me strat is now completely different!
keep practicing, was the same for me last night but after about 6 or 7 laps I found my line.. throttle control is HUGE. i ended up with a p6 in the race after using the entire practice session about 2 hours. Also, I'm using the Ford Mustang GT3.
Don't let it dissuade you. My best recommended action is to set up a practice with a group of AI, put a wide-ish AI difficulty in keep the car count to no more than what you'd see in a normal starting grid.. damage off and go out and learn how to find the grip.. its how I build confidence in any car/track/weather combo. I probably practice 3hrs for every hr of racing i might do. Enjoy the process and you'll be there in no time!!!
Good rain race. Never liked it myself. And I was watching Mr. Malarky in the 14 car in your rearview. He was driving like an idiot right from the start. Like a 12 yr old on Gran Turismo. It's why I would endorse one acct., and one acct. only. Sorry, but not really.

Yep, that's an issue at Le Mans 🤣
I didn’t really have that issue, even in the lower splits I’m in. To be fair I wasn’t pushing too hard or maybe they were just nice this go aroung
I think that was one of the more enjoyable races I've watched you drive in. Max who !!! You were pure driving brilliance this time out. Cheers
Love the new gravel moving feature, they should make Gravel sweeping feature to find the bravest track steward.
Loved the final teasing!
Already eager to watch it!
3:06 the rearview shot of that guy flying off into Narnia is golden lmaoo. Oh and then he rejoins like an imbecile and crashes himself out, fantastic!
Your content is so great! 4.9k on your alt! Finishing so well with no practice in the rain! I can't applaud you enough. Chapeau
I'm a part of the vga team. Great bunch of people can't wait until i share this with Tim 👌
“This is wrong” 🤣🤣🤣 oh boy do i know the feeling of not checking the forecast.. you did very well tho Dave!
Thanks for showing your brake profile! I always forget about things like brake threshold vibration, seeing your setup is a good reminder!
"Wheres the Michelin chicane? Turn 1?"
Dave, that one has a big Dunlop bridge above 😂
Nice of you to give a shout out to smaller stream channels! Good sport!
It's so important to help when you can. 👍
This was a mighty fine piece of driving, IMO. Nice job!
Thank you 😁
The rain looks great now…I might start racing them again
1st, 2nd, and 3rd swapping places for the lead all race was pretty awesome
Wow, Malykhin is dangerous
Amazed you could see where the track went. So hard!
Thanks for the pedals setup !

Great racing Tim 😁
"... a bit of drizzle started". I think you need a new pit chief; Jim's losin' the plot ;)
Get this man to 100k!

This happened to me a few times and i see my IR failing every lap that was painful 😂
That was a lot of whingeing 😂 - interesting race though !
Whinging? You ain't seen nothing yet 😁
Sorry Dave, I can’t see the link to Google Drive you mentioned in the description? Unless I’m going blind! 😅
I forgot 🤣
It'll be there first thing in the morning 👍
i dunno if im mental but i feel like the pcup is even better in the rain
Yes, you're mental 😁

I think it bodes well for the new tire model
Ffb definitely feels right for the pcup in the rain more so than in the dry 😄
I like the feeling of the wet tires on the pcup.

I haven't spent much time practicing in the rain,as everything I try I can't get 1 lap without spinning😂

@The_MotoRebel thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement, definitely want to give it more time and get in some races in the wet.thanks

@BCSimracing thanks for the advice, only been sim racing for 6 months, but have fell in love with it instantly
@@BCSimracing this ^
Hey Dave why sorry you are not talking much ? I found it quite refreshing ! Lol
Shots fired 😁
Has Mr. Dave tried VR?
Yes I have VR 😁
Wet line guess iracing still haven't got it
P1000 haptic are so much better. Not an iracing issue simucube unfortunately
P1000 haptics are better than what?
Btw. Mr Malykhin became WEC Champion with Manthey in the GT3 this year 😅

I think anyone caught smurfing should lose both accounts.
What kind of backwards take is this?
