Just installed one of these on a 20cal condor. Your promo code worked, nice to save money. I had a spare 300cc fx bottle that I used. I'm getting 75 shots on a 250 bar fill. At 928 with a 15.89 jsb pellet. A great product, great video. What a game changer keep up the good work.
I had ordered and a month later these adjustable tophat is launched ,very disappointing. In the older version there is a lot of variance in speeds 50 to 60 fps and also pressure creep I.e lowering of set pressure in the regulator .Can this adjustable tophat be installed in older cricket regulator ?
Huben Power innovates fast, that is for sure! I had very consistent velocities with mine but did notice a bit of lowering pressure as bottle pressure dwindled - common on regulated PCPs which can be helped by reg polishing and lubing. You should in no way be getting 50-60fps variances. Sounds like maybe a tuning issue or (more likely) a breach clearance issue. The adjustable tophat fixes the clearance issues by allowing the user to adjust the tophat to eliminate any play between the breach and tophat. Check out my newer Huben Power video - I worked with them to develop and release a reg/plenum that uses the stock Airforce valve, which means you can get huge power while also having a regulated gun. If you don't feel like buying another reg, one trick I used to take up breach clearance on the original model was to glue a perfectly fitting copper 1mm washer onto the tophat and that made my breach clearance perfect in my particular gun. You can grab the washers for cheap here: amzn.to/3UkVpKX And the epoxy I used to glue it on: amzn.to/4e1RppF
The authentic product card is actually very important. The reason why I think they added this card to the package is to show the buyer it's actually a legit Huben product. They were selling a knock off on Amazon of the Huben reg. These were hardly distinguishable from the real deal (they even had the Huben brand on it)
Oh wow, I had no idea that was a problem! Thanks for sharing that. These regs are super nice, not surprising that someone would try to make a knock off!

If they are the altaros slugs, you only need to chuck them at like 880-900, but those are HEAVY. Might require a SHO valve, heavy hammer, heavy spring, and lots of pressure
Thanks for using the code, king! I think it should fit, may need to adjust tank size for length. That 360cc tank I linked seems pretty perfect. Holler if you have setup questions!
I know there were some counterfeits going around on ebay/amazon - but hopefully yours is authentic. In any case, degas your gun, separate the regulator part from the plenum by unscrewing it, remove your piston and lube up the orings and sealing surfaces with a mix of silicone oil and silicone grease. Here are the links: Proper weight oil: amzn.to/3SeDV1K Grease: amzn.to/3WsXHc6 Mix a bit of both between your fingers and lube everything up real nice.
how does one set this up? is it like paintball where your tank is 3000-4500psi and you tune the output regulator to get your FPS where you want it? or do air rifles have a different setup?
same principle. On a paintball gun you have your tank reg (usually preset around 800psi) to take the 4500psi tank pressure down and then you have your HPR or inline reg set at the guns operating pressure (like 200psi for example). In this case since the PCP airguns run at higher pressures there is just one reg that regulates bottle pressure into operating pressure. 4500 psi down to about 2400 or so in this case
@@Boosted_Spyder thanks, king! There is another new reg coming out from Huben that I helped them design. I'll have a video out on that as soon as I get it in my hands. Stay tuned

Great review
Great review, that definitely is a game changer for me on buying another airforce airgun.
Thanks
thanks for your nice comment, homie. This is 100% the best upgrade you can get for an AF gun. Honestly it should be on the gun from the factory.

I've also have modded condor. Do you think it has enough for 60 grain slugs? I get about 15 good shots now. Last 5 start dropping slightly.

What pressure do you have the gun in video regulated at
I told ya in the video! :)
165 bar
I've been wanting to buy an Airforce condor for a while. Just might do it.😏
It's 100% the best upgrade you can do. Strike now while the iron is hot - I'm not sure how long that discount code will last
I see those condors on the agn classifieds all the time.ive been inches from buying one numerous times
code is still hot! snagged one, hope it fits my maddog stock!

My cricket Z quit regulating. 😢. I think that new one would be sweet on the Z n a bigger tank. Could go all day
Where do I find instructions on rebuilding the regulator

I have the same regulator on my Air Force Talon and the output pressure is always fluctuating therefore it is not consistent shot after shot
