CHANGING MY PREVIOUS REVIEW! Finally a great review with awesome day lights has reached youtube, and now I can honestly say that this statue is a 9/10.... The BEST tyrannosaurus statue ever, even better than the T-Rex v Raptors statue, now I was able to watch details and paimnt work without shadows or out of focus, and this piece is marvelous, even the base, my only not so happy review comes from the green scales in the legs and the dark head paint, but such small details vs the whole statue doesn't affect as much, this is the greatest Tyrannosaurus statue in history!
Video is blurry, lights should not be too dark or too bright (intense), because the statue either looks contrasted with too many shadows, or if lights are too strong it will look shinny with white areas, looks like a good piece,, Prime 1 Studios should stop their other statues in production (this model), improve paint just a bit, it is not really a lot... just detals, for example it's leg has a weird light green color, how? Rexy is light brown and beautiful, not green, Carno looks perfect I wouldn't change anything there, the grey paint for the rocks is flat, not realistic, claws are black, and should have more work, not just a black layer of paint, but most of the issues are on the T-Rex and the JW base, eyeball looks grey, why? it is a matter of details with this one, but not a pass, just an OK statue that may improve with little effort from Prime 1 Studios, specially under that price tag.

Sculpt is beautiful, I think the light doesn't help, and maybe the painting on the Rex face is too strong vs the body, but in general it's a nice statue, when you weigh price vs. quality I feel the price is very high, $900 tops I think it is almost awesome, not bad, it's good.
It is. Truly beautiful. But compare to the very high price, I am expecting more quality of coloring.

Another review just came out on youtube, I think it has better lights than this one, so we could appreciate paint and details better, this one is too dark, but from both reviews togueter I believe this statue is a solid 7/10, paint is not good enough, but... sculpt is excellent, composition is good, teeth could have being better produced, eyes could have benn better produced, the problem with this statue are details, while over all is a good statue, not bad, a solid 7/10.
Painting looks really bad on the head of the T-Rex and the base, those teeths are also ugly, Carnotaurus looks great, but the T-Rex painting does not... Could you please re upload the video but in the end, include an extra short video of the stadue with day lights? I wish you just had better lights once the statue was assembled... it was night and too dark and we can not appreciate all of de details and paint work, shadows were also too strong because of the late time, the camera is also very blurry, I had great expectations, if paint issues are not light related, then it's a 6/10 really, too many paint issues, really sad, this could have being a great piece, thanks!
Thanks for your comment , I will improve the light condition. But yes, the painting is not good as I expected.
@@VETEd oh, really sad, I though it might be a light issue in the room, since it is very dark making many of the T-Rex areas very dark too, but, maybe they just painted it wrong, because Roberta's head has some weird dark patches and her legs have an awakrd green paint.

Why so dark? This statue is probably not as good as I thought, paint is not good, but room lights do not help

Why upload a review when your entire video is blurry and out of focus. Instead of doing a new one.. Joke
I know it far from perfect. But the reaction when I first saw it has only once. so, I retake some footage and insert it at the post production process.
Too dark and unfocus... I cant appreciate details.
