Finally a video review with nice day lights to fully appreciated colors and details without shadows... for me it is a 9/10 and still the BEST Tyrannosaurus Rex statue EVER!............EVER! it has way more details than the legacy museum version from Prime, it has WAY better detailing and painting than the recent Stan Winston Rex, and composition also looks better than the Tyrannosaurus v Raptors... so from my end, Best T-Rex statue, just a few details they could have improved: Since head paint has a bit of dark tone, they should have added that dark tone also to the body or keep the head in a lighter tone so the whole piece looks more uniform, also the head could have better painting, Tyrannosaurus v Raptor has better head painting actually, and the green scales at the T-Rex legs I do not like them at all, but such tiny details that honestly are not as important when you see the whole greatness of the statue. Best T-Rex statue ever 9/10. thanks!
this is way better than the cliff statue, yes it is two rexes, but are anot as detailed as this one, also they have weird necks and foliage hides a lot of the sculpt work, this one is better and an eye stopper.
Question, could you please measure it from the tail tip to the right side of the base (the full length of the statue) and also the height, just wondering if the Prime 1 Studios size is correct (as they may only measure the base) and trying to find out my space, thank you!
Love this statue, only gripe is they could have done a nicer job on the patterning on the carnotaurus body imo, looks like someone just did some quick u like shapes with a marker as opposed to realistic organic looking reptile skin. But outside of that, home run and I'm getting one.

I'm thinking of getting the Dominion rex and have ECC rex on order wich is about 100cm in length so just wanna know how this is gonna stand up next to it as I know the Prime 1 rex's are usually 1/15 compared to ECC wich is 1/12. Initially I was only going to do ECC only but the hyper detail Prime 1 has just got me, even down to the minute scales. They must take their models for the World movies pieces direct from ILM's models.

You can still buy it on third party sites, the problem with Prime is that they use UPS... the worst carrier ever and they consolidate packages making them ultra expenssive, others may sent it through DHL or USPS and they do a great job for a fraction... of Prime's shipping, their UPS shipping was almost extra $1,400... LOL
@@hb0189 yes, the Rex pose is so elegant, the Carno looks extremely great, Owen not a fan, but you can still remove it from the scene but honestly you see him from behind so it doesn't really matter the face paint quality... to be honest, you can actually open the girsphere from both sides (he felt afraid but you can) the base is great, honestly this Rex is better than the legacy museum... by far more detailed and better painted, and WAY better painted than the Stan Winston version with the pink belly and awkward pose LOL still not sure if better than the Raptors V Rex statue, probaby that statue wins on paint work, specailly on the Rex head, BUT... big BUT, it is not as detailed as this one, for this is honeslty the best T-Rex statue in the world to date, and still a 9/10 because there was room for improvement, but considerng the amount of extras and beautiful composition, it's a K.O.

Great video, but next time you might want to simply peel off the tape, rather than using the knife. It's easier, faster and doesn't run the risk of the blade going all the way through as you did. Lucky it was an empty compartment that you punctured into.

The gyro-sphere is a must. I wish the rock didn’t have a peg so you could display it on the base if you like. I love the background you made. It completes the scene.

900w by 490h will give you a couple of mm spare for space.
