I've got Ringke Fusion X camo for my Galaxy S23. It looks sturdy without making it bulky. It is gripy and buttons are clicky. Provides all round protection for camera and screen as the lips are raised. Also the rear camo looks awesome.
@@MegaChutku i don't use any kind of screen protector, got some deep scratches. I only use case, that too i remove most of the times i like the raw feel of the metal and frosted glass back. I would suggest go for ringke tempered glass, good quality and affordable.
I think you missed out by skipping the UAG Pathfinder. It's the middle-of-the-road case in the UAG lineup, not too thin/dull (like the Plyo) and not too bulky/over-designed (like the Monarch). Protection and grippiness is top notch, and it keeps the phone light as well.
If you take the large plastic piece off the elastic band of the grip case it becomes S tear. Takes up no extra thickness with just the band and still gives you something for your fingers to get under. I always used an aftermarket loop/kickstand thing but they always need up breaking. this is everything other stan the kickstand in a super slim case that offers good protection. one of Samsung's best cases
I have used both Whitestone and AmFilm and I prefer the AmFilm. It's just a wee bit thicker than Whitestone and that makes a difference from a durability perspective. If you can't get the AmFilm, then Whitestone will be fine as well
ghostek is a beast on its own in my opinion. Have the black one on the black 23U. Look sexy af and protective while firm grasp atr the same time time. First! Great video. I love how you gave the pros and cons of each. You covered a lot of the expensive options which a lot of people do research for before buying. I have 3 cases the pitaka one for magsafe, the mous fabric that's my favorite and the samsung silicon. but now I think I want one from your S tier haha. Thank you so much for putting this together you are going to help a lot of people save money and decide what they really want.
Does this tier list also include cases with the most protection, aside from comfort and looks? I know comfort is a big deal, since our phones spend more time in our hands than falling out of them 😂 I'd love to find something cute, comfortable, and feel good about it being protected, since I know I'll accidentally fling it across the concrete sooner or later!
Hi mate i love your content, question tho, in which tier would you place the 1.QuadLock case 2.UAG metropolis 3.UAG monarch for samsung galaxy s23 ultra ?? NOTE: I am not a fan of magsafe. I am considering the Ghostek atomic slim and applying the Quadlock adhesive Original universal adaptor (non mag).
Thank you bro! 1. Haven’t checked it 2. E tier, not that good. The material isn’t comfortable 3. Like C/D tier. Pretty good case, but for pasting accessories, not so good since there isn’t enough flat area. Same problem you’ll have with the Ghostek
Gotta say, I don't agree with the placement of the Rokform case. I bought one and you can't use the S Pen in a good portion of the screen if you're using the magnet attachment. I mean that's fine, you can just endlessly swap out the back piece for different things. But that's annoying and tends to mess with any screen protector you're using. Constantly popping the phone in and out of a case is bad for the edges of any screen protector. You also can't write where the fingerprint scanner is because of the case's magnets. I would absolutely not recommend this case to anyone knowing that. It's a big, bulky, heavy case, and it messes with the functionality of the phone.
They have to be close because wireless charging using magsafe won't work as Samsung ofc didn't design s23u with magsafe in mind the camera placement isn't ideal not the spen impact of magnetic accessories.
@@Rubz22no, it's not. I have one for my s23 u, and the sides a VERY flimsy, along with it being slippery, not grippy. I don't like the case, so I'ma get a new ringke one instead
Ok, pausing the video now. I'm sorry - Ringke Air S is S Tier? Nah fam...it may be comfy but as a case too little protection and too thin. Amazon reviews show that they stain super easy as well. Prob gonna be more like B/C tier. P.S. - Really hoped for a mention of the Rokform Eagle 3, maybe too new for the review? P.S.S. - Love the video format for phone cases! Great implementation of a tried and true idea here, keep it up 🎉
To be honest, I think that the Ringke Air S gives more protection than most thin cases out there. But of course, the bigger the case the smaller the risk with dropping. Staining is similar to the Magbak one, it’s really more of a “you see it more on this material” issue. But the comfy level makes up for that. Thanks for your compliment 🙏🏻
Hi, I have a question. I want to use the Peak Design Mobile Tripod with my S23 ultra but I'm not sure wich case is the best for magsafe. I heard that the Magbak Case has stronger Magnets but will it work as good as the Peak Design Case with the tripod? Thanks to everyone that will answer to me :)
got the Mous Evolution Intralock Case and it would be definately S-Tier in your list, you should try to get your hands on one of those. Its like the others you mentioned but with the awesome quick lock it sits rock solid on my bike with their mount. it looks also very nice with the blue side buttons. Its like a nicer looking Rockform with an way easier lock mechanism.
Great content. For me, here are my top 5 cases. 1, supcase unicorn beetle pro. 2, DEXNOR Shielder. 3, poetic spartan. 4, otterbox defender pro. 5, ghostek nautical.
From your list i've the poetic spartan and the otterbox defender, the spartan is more heavy but the texture and the more raised edges feels more safe....
@J_R83 poetic is a good case. I have it in green, red. But for the best lip protection, I'd say supcase unicorn beetle pro and I-Blason Armorbox. The best grip is otterbox Defender Pro. And the lip is pretty good.
I'll probably get the Rokform since I bike a lot and I already have the mount on my bike. Easy choice. I wonder, though, if the magnets are strong enough to affect a credit card's magnetic stripe.
What's the best full phone case with built in screen protector for the 23 ultra. I care more about my screen being protected than any other part so other cases are useless.
Excellent review man, the best I've ever seen. Just want to say, that a got the UAG Civilian , and it's amazing. The only lack is the grip, but super solid and beautiful. Best regards and keep up the amazing job.

23:00 Timeout here 😂 you put the POS ZAGG case in the "A" tier but the Samsung Fugged case in the "C" tier??? Having had both cases (I PROMPTLY returned the ZAGG case after experiencing how thin and non-protective here) - the Samsung case is a far better case. YES YES, it is a bulky case and the loop for a lanyard is just criminal, but for the money - it provides more than enough protection. I also am a UAG fan and was disappointed in the case for the S22 Ultra.
