Can you explain why the shy guy I like will hangout for hours with me when we’re doing fun activities/sports/games, and isn’t afraid to stand next to me or sit next to me during group conversations/parties, but he almost immediately clams up and seems like he doesn’t want to talk if we’re talking one-on-one? He literally follows me around and compliments me, teases me, but talking small talk or anything deeper freaks him out. It’s almost impossible to ACTUALLY get to know him… VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Also, he ignores me completely sometimes and then most of the time, it’s like I’m the only person in the room for him… WHAT THE HECK?!?!
It sound more like you yourself would be shy because so far, he follows you around, tease you and is willing to spend time with you. Maybe you did not give him an impression that you are attracted to him. So far, he does nice things for you but the one thing he is not doing is asking you out on a date. He is not even sure you wanted to go out on a date with him. That is why he is not complaining about being in a friendzone. If you don't do any chasing, he is going to think you are not attracted to him. That is why he is a shy guy. The whole point of being shy is not to make a plan to do the chasing. So if you are sure he is shy but you also aren't doing any chasing, it would mean you are also shy. If none of you make a move, then you cannot expect any relationship to move forward.
He shows every sign here and when I was talking to my friend about how much I like him my other friend interrupted me and her and he said that the guy I like feels the same way about me, I just ignored him and told my friend that they don't even know each other but he said they have gym together and talk every day during that class. The only problem is that I'm if he's telling the truth about him because I think he's way out of my league and his texts are always dry(I also don't help)
Doesn't sound like they are there to help you out to approach your crush. Instead, they are competing against you. If your friends were to support you, they would already be playing matchmakers and they would already make sure to help you become brave enough to approach your crush. So in your position, you don't have trusted friends. If you are certain your crush likes you, then approach your crush but note that you don't need your friend's validation.
@@hp2546 thank you sm! honestly its been a while and I don't talk to either of those people anymore because of something else that happened, I decided to move on because he doesn't seem to like me at all(like I said his texts are dry and he doesn't text first anymore) he still follows me first on every account I have but we no longer go to the same school. Right now I'm working on self improvement but he still is an amazing guy
