Jason is tearing this shit up! Haven't listened to him until now (silly me, sorry Jason!) Almost has a down feel with a nice heavy groove. All the songs seem pretty powerful thumbs up brother!

Funny! I just heard JN mention how much he likes Black Mountain in an interview. The opening riff in this is very derivative of Stormy High by Black Mountain. Cool he likes them that much.

why are people even talking about metallica? Dave Mustaine has been doing well with megadeth and Jason is doing well with this band, so why drag metallica into this? I'm sure the former members and current members of metallica are in good standings with each other, long story short shut up and listen.

he left because Metallica said he couldn't do side projects because that would take away the focus for metallica, so he had a choice, Metallica or his side projects. so it doesn't matter because if he didn't leave he would get kicked out.
One of the greatest sounding rock bands out there, and sadly at the moment there are no plans for them to reform or do another album, such a waste of really good talent
To be honest, this band is 99% Jason and he said he is done with metal. So there is pretty much nothing left to reform from.

didn't mean to seem like I was arguing with you. a lot of people don't know the history of Metallica. just thought I would say a few words. I do enjoy this band it reminds me of Down. much more music is welcome and wanted. I don't see the point of fighting on the net either.

I assume you refer to Mustaine for creating Megadeth and becoming a forefront on the heavy metal scene at the same time that Metallica held the throne as the most successful metal band around. Certainly you are right that Megadeth were contenders for the gods of metal at the time. Now to compare this band to Megadeth or Metallica has yet to be seen(due to the lack of quantity of music).But better? I refer you to master of puppets or just to the sheer Influence Metallica had on the metal scene

Ha ha, not exactly. And not with these four songs. Definately has a lot to write to even consider to have an album on the same level. This ep has a good vibe. I'd like him to go even more heavy. This song (soundwise and with its riffs) seems like something 70's sabbath. I hope mushok pushes on the heavy side. I'd also hope they get a better vocalist. I know he considers him to be a good singer for what he does. I imagine someone like robb flynn screaming on these songs and blasting those mics...
