I also have this kit in the stash and will be building it this year as a D-Day 80th anniversary build along with the Tamiya Cromwell. I also think that it needs a crew, or at least a driver, or else it looks like an abandoned vehicle or a defeated one.
I love like doing dios but i l love dios that also dont have figure lol you know like the just stepped out for a smoke or something! But i get were youre coming from
When it comes to Tamiya, love their vehicles, some very good kits to choose from, but I hate their figures, and I always change any weapons and stowage that are found in the kits. Good video, nice build.
Ye totally agree ! Yet there stand alone figure kits are really good! Even from around the same time witch i find odd! But we are lucky these days where there is so much after market stuff
Man half way through and I saw you got FC Model trend stuff and went nooooo. They have such pants stuff. Luckily It came out great! Love the video and build thankyou mate
Thanks dude ye i dont think i will be bothering again! I will say the detail was ok but it would of be alright if the thing was the right length in the 1st place i wouldn’t mind making it fit into place with new locations for the pins. There is nothing really in the way of replacement running gear
@@SullysScaleModels there was a bit of controversy with them and their quality control when they partnered with AK or Ammo don't let them put you off 3d prints in future though there's a lot of good companies out there. All came out in the end !
I also bought those 3D printed track and bogey replacements and probably regretted it even more than you did...when I came to assemble them last night I realised that they had sent me two left hand side sets!😡
Excellent looking Bren gun carrier!
Looks amazing Sully, another amazing build 👍🏼
Well done. Great work.
Thank you for posting.
Great little build Sully. I have one on half built, think I’ll finish it now.
Thanks for the inspiration 👍
I always thought the Universal Carrier should have won a prize.
Best at making a T34 look comfortable!!!
Can't imagine driving in that thing for days!
I have this one in the stash Sully. Lovely additions my friend. Great work all round. Have a great weekend and speak soon

😂 havnt figured out what the next one will be
Looks cool. 👍
I've built several tamiya bren carriers. They're an easy build & also easy to put in a diorama.
Yet another good build sir!
Great build and never thought of using baby powder as a basing material! Hard to tell she’s an old kit, stella job!
Thanks mate! No nore did i lol i duno why i thought of trying it but im glad i did! Mixed in with the paint really thickens it up
@@SullysScaleModels gonna be using that trick on my next vehicle!

The wife tests me daily! That should give you your answer lol

@@lpjmodels no iv had some good stuff before and some for the F14
It just needs a bird related item to finish it off 🙂
I do my camo nets at the end...once the kit is finished...add the paint to the pva...remove the excess then apply to the model..dead simple...
Great job i just got the kit and im trying to figure out what green i want to use
Xf-73 should do it, it's a bit of a wired one I think I used RAF dark green xf-81 and added a bit black
@@SullysScaleModels thanks
the first Tamiya release was 1976
Ye I duno why I said 56 lol🤦🏻♂️

Ah man that really sucks! How the hell they manage that?!
Needs a crew.
I wanted to show the Bren off. I like little vignettes that look like that people have just stepped away
It’s a nice little build. One of my favourite
