    His employer was no doubt delighted to discover that his doctor's letter was forged and they could therefore get rid of him.

      and yet they didn't, which means if there is evidence they were made aware of this and either dealt with this with a warning or even by choosing to do nothing, then they can't really use that alone as a reason to dismiss him because it suits them. They can use it to demonstrate a pattern of behaviour though.

    • @tomsixsix
      @tomsixsix 7 месяцев назад +1

      You can get one for autism (often comorbid with ADHD) but usually only the most severe forms - a higher functioning person typically wouldn't be eligible. Generally, you wouldn't be able to drive with the level required for a blue badge on the autism score, so it'd be purely for being with someone else.

    • @markc5999
      @markc5999 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@tomsixsix people with that level of autism have mobility issues normally.
      This guy if he works at an estate agents in office and drives a car clearly has no or very slight mobility issues. We had to jump through so many hoops to get my gran a blue badge after she had a stroke and could not walk unaided.
      This guy certainly appears to just play the system and probably just beats people down until they just give in to get rid of him.
      I bet everyone was jumping for joy when the managers suspended him.

    • @hencole

    At 1:15 caller describes a "diagnostic letter" that he "produced to them when [he] joined the business". Is this the letter he forged? He subsequently claims that his reason for forging a doctor's letter was because he was hesitant to disclose his disability at the outset of his employment... yet this seems to be the very effect of his providing the "diagnostic letter".
    In any case, his employer deserves a medal, if not beatification, for tolerating him for four months, I had to take regular breathers just to make it through the video!

    I do feel a bit sorry for him because he sounds very personable. For many neurodivergent people it's a bruising and gruelling process to learn how to "make it work" in the world we all have to live in and it sounds as if he terminally put his foot in it here.
