Wasn't happy here and doesn't seem happy now. I really hope Elliot finds happiness somehow. The only glimmer of happiness seemed to be when Barbara started singing along with the song. That brought out a genuine smile.
She won't.
They would only be happy if the whole world conformed to their distorted views., as with others. The minority is ruling what the majority should think.
She's like..so real.. like, she's truly not faking anthing at all, she's just being herself, and that's REALLY fucking exceptional and rare in these days. She's great :)

It is kind of an irony that she got Oscar nomination for portraying a teenage girl who deals with unexpected motherhood. Now she goes all the way saying I'm a man and please call me Elliott.
It jusy goes to show we can never assume anything about anyone, or their state of being and happiness. Even when it seems undoubtable.

I remember seeing this years ago, and it's been itching at my mind how awkward this must have been for Ellen.

Finally, a worthy role model for the female youth! She is so spot on (especially when she talks about crappy celeb websites) and her sparkling eyes, she just takes my breath away! I could watch her for days, it's hard not being able to tell some people how they've impacted your life; Canada seems to produce some of the COOLEST people (Kids in the Hall, Jim Carrey, Tom Green, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morrisette, Michael Cera, just a few of my faves!). Never Stop, Small!

The best breakthru actress since Natalie Portman in Leon, hopefully Ellen won't go on to make shit costume drama's like Portman did, and keep to her challenging and controversial roles. Ellen seems to be an honest actress who doesn't want to get caught up in all the glitz of Hollywood, just loves acting for what it is and what it gives her.

@RegisPhilbinFan "What do you dream about?" is such a good question! Sometimes I wish I had the opportunity to ask respected actors questions like that, because we as fans can become so involved in an actor and we never truly KNOW who they are! It's strange to think about how we can know so much "about" them and they don't know we exist (personally), I wonder if that one-way relationship ever creeps out celebs? & I've noticed people usually talk smack b/c of jealousy or boredom...frequently.

For Barbara Walters to say that she doesn't understand why Ellen Page (and by extension the character of Juno) likes the Moldy Peaches is willful ignorance. Their music is catchy, ironic, and tender, just like Ellen and Juno. Thematically, they fit perfect with the Juno soundtrack.
