I didn't expect to eat in a historic area today, but alas, my google search for lunch led me to this wonderful eatery within the historic German Village of Columbus, OH. Surrounded by original orange masonry and brick-paved roads from the early 1800s, the quaint feel is ever present in German Village. At the end of one of these narrow brick roads, you'll run right into a truly authentic German eatery.

In this video he talks about going to a German restaurant in COLUMBUS OHIO, called SCHMIDTS,and this being October, when you have a celebration in October it's called OCTOBERFEST,and because I cooked at a German restaurant in high school called BEETHOVENS FIFTH in downtown Honolulu, and I was stationed in Germany, but upon looking at various German restaurants the prices are outrageously very high, so I decided to stay home and make it myself, to make schnitzel, sauerbratten, sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato pancakes, German potato salad, schrudal,or various sausages is not hard, and in Germany sausages are called WURST,usually served with bread or roll and German mustard, or Dijon mustard, or regular American mustard. But in NYC the majority of German restaurants are found in QUEENS, not in MANHATTAN, Brooklyn, or the BRONX, doesn't happen.
