They had love from Fgteev, FusionGamerz and many others I can name but choose not to. AND LOOK HOW IT CAME OUT. A game that can be compared to Security Breach and to the first game.
The fact that this game still had a chance to be good even before it was released is so sad. There was a cool concept for a hello neighbor 2 and then it was scrapped and turned into this.

It's sad that they didn't include the parts where they actually felt like they had to give the game credit early on, some things they kinda liked and the general feeling of "this is okay". It made the ending hit that much harder. XD
Their expectations of this game were low enough to be ground-level, and Hello Neighbor 2 found a way to *clip under the map* and plummet into the abyss. Oh boy.
Had this thought on a very different video, but: Steel Wool used the same basic set up for Hello Neighbor 2 as they did for Security Breach... Here is this 'open world' playground, where people/things are going to try and chase you down, but it's all divided up into sections ruled over by individual entities that basically just try to chase you around their little section of the map...

Despite the backlash, I personally enjoyed this game. And I feel like after patch 8, the game's stability and the overall gameplay and environment changes made it better. Apparently they're adding "The Guest" (which was what Hello Neighbor 2 was originally going to revolve around, hence the name 'Hello Guest') in a later update. I'm excited to see how it affects the game.
Why do games nowadays tend to go in such harsh routes, showing promise but direction changes to either a new style or shorter deadline. It's like suddenly playing dominos on top of a half finished house of cards.
