WOWZA!! Great pheasant hunting with the pointer labrador retriever!! I have a pointer irl and I do this with him all the time!! The flushing is EXACTLY like how my dog does it!!

Pointer hunting doesn't work like that... The dog has to walk in front of you, he has to look for the game, not you, and when the pointing dog finds it he doesn't move until you get close...
The pheasant, partridge, woodcock, quail etc. only fly when you get close and you give the dog the go-ahead to make them fly and then you shoot them...
This procedure that was inserted into the game is just pure fantasy, totally different from reality...

You need to have the dog that you want the extra trait for so if you had the lab but not the pointer you wouldn't be able to train it to point
