Raspberry Pi HQ Camera, Nikkor lens

New Raspberry Pi "HQ" camera in 1080p with Nikkor-S 1:2.8 35mm manual lens at f/5.6 looking at some trees. The camera sensor is 1/2.3" format so this is using a small crop of the nominally full-frame lens. The Pi can do at most 1080p video, so it is using the 12MP sensor in a 2x2 binned mode, plus some cropping.

So far with mine I have had good luck with their 6mm lens. I want to get a telephoto one for close ups.

Is the sensor good? What is your opinion about this new camera?

I think it is pretty good. I have been experimenting with mine. I really hope they have a version some time without the IR-Cut filter.
