We have a lot of short drives when moving the firewood racks. the filter firing interval is about ~100h. Avant cleans the filter itself and you can drive the machine normally even during the cleaning. I personally doubted the operation of the filter at first, because it is really cold in winter -30 degrees Celsius, but there has been no problem.

When you drive, you drive with how many RPM with the engine? And do you wait how many times before to turn the engine off? Last question please, how many hours for your avant now? Many thanks
the number of revolutions depends on the job. handling firewood is light forklift work and the rpm is around 1400. work done with a bucket such as filling the chip silo at 1700-1800 rpm. highway transfer drive and dpf cleaning are driven very close to the maximum rpm. after driving, wait for 30-90 seconds, depending on the driving, or until the first temperature of the screen filter has dropped below 170 degrees. after highway transitions or dpf cleaning, you have to wait a bit longer for the temperature to drop. Avanti just turned one year old and 685 hours have been accumulated. About 15 hours are missing from the number, which the machine did not count as new due to a software error. we also use an older Avant 640 DLX model, which is from 2013, it has already been driven for 4900 hours, and I am very satisfied with the machine.
