Yeah. AOE damage and harder to scout. It's not imbalanced but it feels much harder to fight for most people, which is also why protoss dominates except at pro lvl@@ZerglingLover

Beating grand masters with stupid stuff idea: You have not rushed out the overseer yet. I've heard that the contaminate ability is very good at delaying upgrades and is a very good harrasment tool.
@@shadowling77777 Thermy did it a lot in his ghosts only and cloaked units series, denying scans. The thing about it vs structures is it removes 100 shields and energy, not all shields and energy, and buildings tend to have a lot of shields.
Zerg ideas - mind control an SCV long enough to build a CC, then ... 1. Float it to a corner after opponent loses all air. a. use the CC to ferry the SCV(s) around to mine random minerals/gas b. Can a Zerg CC ferry around drones also? If so, extractor trick to avoid total destruction. 2. BC rush. 35 minute BC rush for BLH submission. 3. Proxy planetary in opponent's main. Bonus: Do this against Florencio, to take out his depots. 4. Set up a planetary contain AS ZERG. Send the game to Rank roulette.

Corruptors are really strong in plat. I've had surprisingly good results with ling-bane-corruptor vs Terran. They're much less squishy than mutas, and in a league where most players don't have the best positioning or reaction times, it's possible to snipe bases and do similar economic damage to mass mutas. If the Terran turtles you have an easy transition to brood lords.
Against Protoss that probably just ends up with you losing your handful of Brood Lords to Stalkers with Blink, then still being behind because you have no ground cover.

In 3rd game seemed like morphing a couple of them into Broodlords FOR DEFENSE might have been a good idea, so you get a ton of dmg on those archons for free.
Thinking about your second game - could you hide a drone and build an extractor somewhere while you destroy the opponent's structures. He had no anti-air counter to you and the win condition is to kill all the buildings.
okok what about beating grandmasters with a fake retreat? Make them think you underestimated their army/tech and are running away, so that they chase you. Then, swoop in with the rest of your army and wreck their main/nat as soon as they do
Never understand why people scout with hallucinated oracle. The oracle is much more scary and deceptive and only slightly slower in flying speed, wouldn’t it make sense to scout with hallucinated oracle? And then every once in a while you have a real oracle and it opens up more damage because eventually they think it’s just another hallucinating scout
@@matth1005 ik, but with 20 corrupters I think you could split 1-2 on each building and have enough to fly around looking for more and maybe distract his his biles. Enough money for a few extractors too.

Tried this a bit on the ladder today. Had success in ZVZ on NA plat.

instead of canceilling your ccorruptor ground attack, just shift a mvoe your other corruptors
