I too have waist length same texture hair and keep it long as it seems more manageable than short. I do straighten it a bit with a hot brush as if I leave it curly, it wants to trend to dreads. I appreciate the inspiration to give it its curly glory moment! I don't frequently wash my hair and it's very healthy. I only need to style it once and it stays how it's styled until the next washing, so it's not being heat styled all the time. I air dry. I outgrew my microfiber hair wrap, too, and have gone to using a woven cotton Middle-Eastern scarf called a Shemagh or Keffiyeh, it's large enough, absorbent, and it being woven and not napped, doesn't frizz my hair. It takes about four hours for my hair to dry completely. I put it up in a loose bun to dry the underside, then let it down to dry the outer layers. I love your tips, you have a new subbie, thanks!

Hi! I finally feel like I found my hair twin!! I’m binging all your videos you are a hidden GEM! I have a question, when you put the microfiber towel on after the gel and scrunching do you leave the microfiber towel on the entire time it’s drying or do you only leave that on before taking it off to air dry the rest of the way? Heyy!!!! awwww this is soo sweet thank you soo much you have made my day with your comment, Im so sorry for taking ages to answer back, idk why youtube isn't sending me the notifications any more but anyways, to answer your question I only leave the towel for a little bit while I change into clothes. Being as the towel is still pretty much soaked in water, i find it better than my hair getting tangles with whatever clothing and accessories Im putting on. I pretty much let it air dry 97% of the way :) hope you and your loved ones are staying safe!!

And thank you so much that’s actually really helpful as it seems theres a sweet spot where if I plop for too long my hair gets tangly but if I don’t plop long enough it takes years to dry lol. My hair is similar in length and curl pattern.. I also have thick hair. And its so true. The longer your hair is. The looser the curl. Especially if your hair is long and thick. My hair is reaching to my belly button. Finally I found a youtuber with similar hair as mine

Hi Perrin, so i alternate in the ways I dry my hair because if you use the t-shirt method too much, you will have a lot of styling products near your scalp while it dries, and that was giving me a flaky scalp so I just put on my microfiber towel while I get changed and then I take it off and continue to air dry it.

Hi abby! are you deep conditioning regularly?if you feel like you are doing all that you can and nothing is working I'd look into taking vitamins. I talk about my favorites on my how to grow your hair video, but there's so many out there as well it wouldn't hurt to check them out. Its okay, hair changes a lot as we get older and thats good that you are trying to stay on top of it.

I love fanolas fiber fix line as a replace of olaplaex no. 3 and then their No orange shampoo to tone my color :) Hopefully this will be over soon tho.

Hey!, yes they did send them to me to try and I totally get it as Im a bargain queen but I truly fell in love with the products, their ingredients and their scents. If you are able to, I'd advice trying one and seeing if you like it but my personal favorites are definitely the scalp treatment, the hair mask and the neroli hair primer.They've become a regular on my wash days. I bought this hair oil a while ago to help my scalp and it was 7 bucks and did nothing for me so I've definitely seen results with this one.
I have a satin pillowcase and they I sleep with the satin bonnet. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely better than if I’d didn’t and then I just refresh if needed. I do the pineapple a little bit different than most because of the long hair which I’ll show the next time but basically devide the weight of the hair.

Hi clarissa! sorry for taking ages to answer back, In my country theres a saying about this when someone cuts your hair and it doesn't grow back but honestly as vague as this sounds I'd advice trying biotin for a month or two ( do always with time in-between) and see how your hair reacts
If you detangle your hair in the shower, won't you have more hair fall.. usually i avoid detangling my hair during bath, cuz of hair fall .. they tend to get weak when its wet.

I don’t yet . I have a diffuser but I’m not in love with it so I’m saving up to get Something better and see if I like diffusing. I just get so impatient cause it’s soo long. At least while I’m air drying I’m not really paying attention to it
my hair is now at a pixie length and it just won't move like when I part it there's no way it's gonna budge from where it's parted it's like there is a really good hair spray on my roots they're just not that flexible I can't do that 7:03 ( I'm trying to stay positive and say that's just cause my hair isn't long enough but it was long before and I still had the same problem but I was using sulfates and stuff so I'm hoping that now that I've fixed my routine and take care of my hair it won't PMS like a bitch)

Hopefully after this is done , we are thinking of moving and this is for sure be a matter of priority 😊😊

yeah, I use it as a pre-poo :) Its recommended to apply on dry or slightly damp hair.
