After being away from Guitar for almost 30 years and just now getting back into it for the past few months. Back when I played before, there was no internet, no tabs, videos, etc... You had to learn directly from friends or listen to a vinyl record over and over and pick out the notes/chords yourself. I really appreciate all the amazing content that is available on RUclips to help me learn. There are quite a few exceptional individuals who have taken the time to put together lessons, but of all of them, I have to say that you, Dave, provide the most thorough, clear, and easily understood lessons. Thank you very much sir for helping me get back into Guitar.

you have put so much work into simplifying it for beginners..I like it when you can absolutely tell some songs is very important to follow your strumming pattern in order to sound a little bit professional and some songs you just allow us to create our own strumming patterns because the song allows it. by using Guitar tabs..you understand there are many beginners who want to learn the song the right way. What i would recommend is at the end of the video link us to a page where we can download your guitar tabs you have prepared. two thumbs up.

You are the best RUclipsr for learning songs on guitar. All is indicated very clearly, and your patterns aren't too complicated so that we can quickly learn them. Usually I only watch the last part of your videos showing how to play the song fully and it's enough for me to learn. I guess the other parts are usefull for total beginners. Again, this is so practice that chords are indicated. Sometimes when I search for a song and I see that you didn't make a tutorial for it, I cry 😢 I love you, god bless you ! 🙏

I have to say. This tutorial is one of the best formats I've ever seen. Not too simple, perfect for beginners, intermediate or advanced guitarrists looking for a quick reference. I like that he has the chords with the numbers of bars for every section and he plays the whole song at the end which is good when you learn all the sections fast and you just want to practice the whole song immediately. I note your waltz/ballad comment with regard to this lovely song but wondered whether you'd considered compound duple rather than simple triple time, ie, 6/8 rather than 3/4? In addition to the phrasing of the verses, I'm hearing the conventional 6/8 drum beat (KICK-and-a, SNARE-and-a) so my inner metronome is suggesting that time signature to me. It's not in 3/4.
