@dominic, a spoonful in your morning coffee is an excellent idea! We'll be sure to post some recipes in which we use it in the future! But you can replace white sugar with maple sugar in any recipe!
@troy, you're very welcome! It's not recommended to try this without a thermometer. You could burn your hands if you try to touch it. This is one case where you just need to buy or borrow the thermometer.
@@GuillermoandSarah I don't mean any disrespect but if the only reason not to use a thermometer is I may not be smart enough to not touch stuff that is hot.... then I do not need a thermometer.
We are totally off white and brown sugar Was looking for a more natural sugar to use as i have a vegan in the house Although not for her😂 I'll be using your method for a cheesecake 🙏
@helenharrington5641 we're the same. We almost never use white or brown sugar. So glad you found our video helpful. My friend often uses monk fruit or dates as a sweetener. I would like to start using those in baking. Let us know how making the sugar goes. Sorry for my late reply, we've had a busy summer! Sarah
Looks yummy, what recipes would you use the maple sugar in? A spoonful in your morning coffee? Mmm

Thank you for the video. I wonder tho if I do not have a thermometer how do I know when it's ready. There must be a way.
