This was a great review. I will definitely be buying it and I hope NI keep coming out with more basses. I hope they come out with cleaner options as well, however it sounds like this one can clean up for some of the more muffled sounds. I hope they bring out like 5 regular basses with different flavours before venturing into upright and fretless.
SESSION Drums, SESSION KEY, SESSION Electronics are coming soon. My money is ready. SESSION BASS can drag and drop MIDI, so this is already a production tool. You can change any tone by yourself. All guitars in SESSION are very good, this system is very good.

Hi! Thanks for clear online tutoring! Maybe a stupid question, but a bit beginner in the field… How is it with major vs minor with the patterns when you are pressing a single note? Let's say you want a pattern for a Dm chord and you are pressing the single note D on the keys?
I've got most of the SESSION range - those patterns are great but there seems to be a problem with how access or record/output the MIDI for the *generated* patterns being played.
