Little Wing is the greatest musical canvas ever created. There is just SO much you can do with the progression and it never gets old playing it and hearing others run with Jimi's masterpiece to make it their own. Who can even imagine where he would've taken it???
@@hhattingh Yeah I thought about that one as well. Little Wing is much more musically involved than that though and that's why I would actually consider it a broader canvas with it having so many more chords available to build melodies upon. I did think about it though. I also would put Don't Think Twice in that conversation. There are some great versions of that one as well. Namely the Clapton one from the Dylan tribute at Madison Square Garden. Strats dream of being played like Clapton's was played during that rendition of what was originally an acoustic song.
Thank you for sharing Tomo, everything sounded great! The drummer and the bass player kept everything going well for Oz and you to open up some fantastic guitar playing. Little Wing is not easy to play on the guitar and I think both of you nailed it well, again, thankyou so much for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! This is my favorite band to play my original music! Will Lee from David Letterman Show Shawn Pelton from Saturday Night Live.... and amazing Oz Noy! So much fun making music on the stage together! Thank you so much!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Don’t mention it! Do you play local (near you) only or do you travel a bit to play some live shows? Would love to see one, one day but I’m located in Winnipeg,Canada
Your vibrato and string bends really sing out nice Tomo. A cross between Clapton and Hendrix! I was waiting for you to step on an overdrive pedal at some stage. From the middle onwards Maybe some better luck next time. Anyway, nice rendition ......... 🎸
So happy to hear that! I have practiced those techniques a lot of hours. Just bending.,.. just vibrato techniques... without blues licks! Thank you so much! This song... I rather not step on distortion because that what most people would do... I go quietly other direction.
@@TomoFujitaMusicWhat amp is that? I was curious. I've been reading up incessantly the past month on Dumble amps and pedals....I am planning on buying one of the better Dumbler pedals this month, for sure, just to aim for a lower gain, smooth blues tone, etc. I have a Blues Driver 2, but wanted something a little less "gainy" at times.
@@TomoFujitaMusic That's what it looked like from a distance. Very beautiful sound! I didn't know what a Dumble amp was until a few months ago. I'm not really up for $50,000 purchase, so I'll do the pedal! LOL

Amazing song! I am still learning from this song! Forever song!
@@TomoFujitaMusic No doubt and if a master like yourself is still learning we've ALL got our work cut out! Great job!
You mean Bob Dylan? He wrote All along the Watchtower. Every version besides the original is a rendition or a cover with artistic liberties.

オリジナルが素晴らしいのは勿論ですが、デレク&ドミノスでのデュアン・オールマンのソロも大好きな私にはたまりません。

What pedal are you using for that intro Tomo?
Only One Control Prussian Blues Reverb
