CEC should turn one of their locations into a Pizza Time Theater and make it look exactly like it did in the early 80s…with the old school uniforms, theater carpet, etc

The CEC in West Hills California just removed their road stage for 2.0 a couple days ago sadly which sucks

Wonderful store tour! I’m always glad to see former PTT stores still going, this particular stage is also in pretty good shape! With the exception of Munch. However, it’s always great to see these guys working regardless!
thats my childhood CEC location! went to it alot as a kid. it used to have a kids playplace with a racecar on top. Great memories!
About this location's history, this CEC location used to have the Balcony Stage, The C Stage, and the 2 Stage. Pretty soon, it's going to be a dance floor and a video wall for the 2.0 remodel. This location has been through 3 different remodels, the first remodel was in 1989, the second remodel was in December 1995 when it received the skytubes and the 2 Stage to replace the C Stage, the third remodel was in June 2006 at that time they relocated their 2 Stage to the other side of the building which wasn't part of CEC, and their getting remodeled again this month, which is their fourth remodel, which means it will lose their 2 Stage for the dance floor and the video wall. For the animatronics, it used to be on the left side of the building where you pass by the soda fountains.
Im not gonna lie..... I think once they see the performance numbers for stores dwindle that dont have the bots and see northridge thrive because it does have the bots theyre gonna realize their mistake but the damage will have already been done and theres no turning back unless they make all new bots

Fun fact! The 2 stage is low to the ground because there isn’t a lot of space ceiling wise. Also some people call this the Mira mesa location.
It IS the Mira Mesa location. There used to be more CECs in San Diego but I'm sure they all closed except this classic

Aaaaand they are destroyed. You really got to this one just in time. 5 more left. 2-stage doesn't bother me as much though since it's the only stage type confirmed to survive.
Hey, Chris Bower. In case you didn't know, the Road Stage in Canada, the 2-Stage locations in Ventura, California, and Mira Mesa, California had Munch's PTT mask.
Ventura's been gone for a bit. idk if any other stores have PTT munch mask, but as of now I only know Mississauga and Mira Mesa

The stage now removed for 2.0. I always thought the stage is going to survive due to CEC not giving a sh*t about the location, but they did.
I love how Mr Munch is like he doesn't know what is going on, lol
RIP West Hills and Corona's Road Stages... Now the road stage is more endangered than the 3 stage.

not for long Tallahassee and Pineville are being removed soon (tallahassee most likely) which will leave only 2 3-Stages (Altoona and Billings)

I assume you mean the alpha ? Because no Chuck e animatronic is half bodied I’m a modern day CEC but his legs are covered up so is that what your taking about ?

Sadly as of a couple days ago the stage set was removed at this location and replaced with a massive stage 😭😭☹️☹️☹️

This was my location growing up!!! Good to see it without all the crazy kids yet I miss the giant playground and other motion "rides" they had in the early to mid-2000s. This feels so empty because of this. I honestly don't even know if it was a PTT or not then or if they moved on to the stage 2 stages as that was so long ago. Glad the animatronics still work well. If the food wasn't trash and I could go there when there's no one there without getting arrested, then sure I'll go I guess for nostalgia.😊

Before it closed down nearly a decade ago, the CEC in New London, Connecticut also had a 2-stage, if I recall. The first CEC I ever visited.

Yeah I did a video at pirates Park a couple years back if you want to check it out. And no I moved away from there quite a while ago. But my family still lives there and I go back for visits every now and again, it'll always be my hometown!

So there's really no more phase 2 or 3 wall art around? It seems that all the cec locations you've been visitng lately only have the wall art from phase 4 and beyond now..
There's very few phase three left and I haven't seen anything phase two and quite some time unfortunately
