- You might have guessed by now, but I love rags to riches challenges in The Sims. I decided to push thing even further by limiting my sim to just living in the park for an entire year!
Trying to battle the elements while building the worst house I have ever made has scarred me.

The "house" having business hours took me out omg
the inappropriate trait lets you take a sponge bath in the sink so you can deal with the hygiene need at the park

Maxis: Here's a life sim where you can comfortably spend your whole life in a house you actually own, enjoy guaranteed employment with plenty of opportunities for upwards mobility, and raise a happy family through the generations

Agreed. I want more Sims 3 content. Sims 2 content is fun, and Sims 1 content is so rare (and wanted), but Sims 3 content makes me want to play more. Sims 4 is an abomination (aside from build mode, but I can't stand watching people just build houses).
You know what? the aesthetics of the Sims 3 are so underratedly clean that i downloaded that same haunted house for the Sims 4 because someone converted it and it really looks crappy in the Sims 4, not as pretty here

Lol when you said "The Summer festival has just arrived, so let's let's celebrate by launching a firework at 5:00 a.m." that reminded me soooo much of where I live. As soon as it's summer people around here are setting off fireworks for no reason. I swear it's just to be annoying. 🙄

@@SaphiraTessa Same actually... My dog gets so terrified that i always have to console her. Almost everyone in my neighborhood has a dog so i bet there's more who get scared aswell :/

i so misunderstood this video at the start. i thought youd be taking her money and going back to her home lot to build up a house, and she wasnt allowed to go there until youd built it up really nicely. when you started talking about where to build the house IN THE PARK i fully lost it. genius
With the right traits and playing as a werewolf, this was actually surprisingly easy.

Cleptomaniac could have helped this challenge. You can steal a lot once everyone leaves the park.
Doing this challenge but not being allowed to build would be fun. I imagine giving my sim the Loves the heat, loves the outdoors, gatherer, fisher and maybe slob so they wouldn’t care about hygene as much. I would probably prioritize getting the immue to cold and heat asap, then steel bladder. So basically keep gathering stuff the same way but according to wishes.
Hey, that’s an idea. Have you ever played a game where you follow your sims every(nearly, they always wish for uni which is meh) wish? Pay attention to which traits you use. Snobs and artists like stuff, family oriented is really helpful for actually starting a family(have a baby is a great wish-basically a get married free card). Buying skill items tend to generate skill wishes. I need to stop typing.

37:04 Well, Gobias is gay so that's easily explained 😭 Btw you couldn't "throw a party" because that option is specifically house-related, but you could have used "throw a party at" option and it would've worked!
Also, i'd love to see that challenge with no building at all. You could get a only sleeping bag, and portable sketchbook instead of an easel, but a Slob Trait would make the Sim able to wash in the sink! And to spice things up, i'd add a quest to achieve a Lifetime Wish without leaving the park maybe? I love your content, it always gives me some more ridiculous ideas to challenge myself! ( and I love to frustrate when you forget about stuff like the sprinklers in gardening challenge haha )

I don’t comment much but I decided to this time, these sims 3 videos are great and I can tell you have fun filming them too! When I get migraines I have to nap them off while my medication kicks in, and I fall asleep to them sometimes, You deserve more subs. Keep up the good work :)

Using the skating rink and anything else that gets you festival tickets means you can redeem the tickets in summer for the fireworks and that rakes in good easy early money.
A great pun name for this challenge would've been Sita Parkes. Sita is the Hindu goddess of the harvest and I thinks its obvious why Parkes. Park/Parke/Parks would also be acceptable.

lol my cousin was born on Christmas day. It always sucked for him because we would all come together for Christmas but not his birthday. I'm pretty sure they celebrated his birthday between Christmas and New Year though.

If you build a house, what's even the point of the "challenge"? You should have restricted yourself to the items already on the lot or things you can buy from the vendors.

No mod! When you have testing cheats enabled you can shift+click on any community lot to enter build/buy mode ☺️

Hey, I hate to ask this, but are you gay? because a lot of simmers in this space are gay men or plain women. and I only watch one or two women, and then James Turner. I can't watch many other people because they're obsessed with pink purple and cats and anime. so i limit myself to James and his girlfriend Deligracy.. I can't tolerate many other players, but I found you today And you seem almost similar to James Turner and others. So that's why I'm asking Because if I come across another simmer who is obsessed with unicorns and pink and purple, whether they're a boy or a girl doesn't matter.
