The president has the constitutional authority to pardon anyone he wants to, any time he wants to. Past presidents have waited until they were leaving office to do it. This president is the first one to have the courage to exercise his power without fear of political repercussion.

There has been a revision of this statistic that actually lowers Trump’s numbers. Obama inherited an economy speeding towards a depression and got it moving in the right direction. If he didn’t have to deal with the tea party the economy would have recovered faster.
