Big difference between Bl1 Lilith and Bl2 Lilith from a lore standpoint. The real silly thing in BL2 is that Lilith and the vault hunters send out the new hunters for missions instead of Lilith just massacreing everything in her path.
Not to mention how she got the shit kicked out of her in Borderlands 3. At least Maya's defeat was justified because a piece of shit retard needed protecting

Then later during the story, the way I understand it is that Lilith stayed behind initially due to exhaustion after teleporting a whole city, and then later because Angel and Roland told her to not to join them. Ultimately she didn't listen, which is what led to her capture, and is even evident by how angry Roland is with her arrival during that mission.
I wish Gearbox would do stuff like this. Implementing VH’s from other games. Wether it be Marcus BSing a non-canon story, or Tanis running a hypothetical simulation, I’m sure they could make it work.
Lilith was my first and favourite character in BL1. I did everything in that game with her. I even soloed crawmerax without knowing about the spot everyone else uses to hide from him. Her ability could have been so boring but the trees were smart in how you could tailor it to function differently. In every game since I wished they did unlocks or DLC of the old hunters but they never do. But honestly it could have been the BL1 guns that helped that feeling too. A lot of the newer guns have no pop to them, they feel lightweight or overly gimmicky compared to some of my BL1 favorites. A lot of the damage and kill effects like the blood and acid and shock felt way more visceral too and helped sell the guns effectiveness.
honestly the art and modeling in B1 just feels cheap today, it's gray, the weapons doesn't change as much as newer games, the weapons have generic sounds, the weapons are thinner and have almost no personality (Except some weapons) and B2 has better elemental and gore effects + physx (B3 has really good effects, but have a different style, so they aren't just "better"). Honestly the things that make me want to play B1 are the Vaul Haunters, the story and some random things like some areas and some side characters. I didn't know people have the exact oposite opinion on the newer games, they are just more fun and have better gameplay

Mad respect bro. Is this mod compatible with other mods, like bl2fix? Also have you considered making a playable Tiny Tina? (she could have grenade and rocket skills, but very fragile, and even a hysteria skill tree and her capstone is where she goes teenage girl berserk gets extra speed and autoregens rockets but takes more damage for 10s and can't heal during that time) -Playable Goliath. Stupid and slow, but can enters rage mode has damage resistance and extra melee damage and can leap directly to enemies )). -playable engineer. Different playable style, can place small helpful units that act similar to faeries in Tina dlc for the whole party, special skill could be earthquake the ground which slows a targeted ground enemy and can be used to buff his offense or defense, he can also add effects to upgrade it such as shooting homing slag missiles. He could also have pistol or shotgun skill tree. One of his ultimate skills could be exoskeleton, haven't thought exactly what it could do yet. His lore is that he broke free of Opprtunity somehow after realising it was an inhumane dictatorship (kinda like Canada is becoming sadly), his wife was murdered by Jack and he wants not just revenge but a revolution

It can be made compatible with the UCP by disabling the UCP features that touch Maya and class mods. I haven't tried with bl2fix, but should be the same, if any such features can be disabled. And yeh, those are cool ideas for new characters, you better get started working on it!
Lascaux is the closest thing we could get to the classic Double Anarchy in BL2 and it really completes the image in my mind. What better way to deal with things than a literal bullet storm leading the way through any and all opposition?
Shame it's locked to level when you enter Frostburn, without modding, and if modding for higher levels, just use sandhawk as it makes it pale in comparison

This was epic man. I played BL for a year straight before finding BL2. Played that one for about a year and a half and went back to the forst one about two weeks ago. Nostalgia. Being able to play as Lilith on BL2 would be amazing
to add to my reply and further answer the question, to get to all 3 "capstones" in all 3 trees, all you need is level 65, or if you complete the Underdome mission in both playthroughs as well as Claptrap DLC in both playthroughs, level 61 to get 5/5 in the capstones and a few skills in the other tiers, which means 8 more points to spend on making other skills stronger a bit. although it's not entirely desired to pick up all the skills when builds specify skills you dont want, and spend points into the skills that benefit your build. i have a build for Lilith that has points spent into skills that dont hurt the build but dont necessarilly benefit the build either, just trash fodder points i dont want flashing as unspent.

Going over the skill calculator if you combine passive and kill skills you get roughly 475% crit dmg 70% to reload 140% extra gun damage 40% magazine size 65% fire rate 40% recoil reduction You'd basically be firing almost non-stop in an almost razor straight line.

The "powers" you are referring to are scripted events and don't show her effect on gameplay as a playable character because, again, they're scripted. She is really powerful, but those cutscenes and scripts don't show that. Also, arguably, Maya's Cloudkill is equally as powerful as Lilith's entire elemental build.

Nice vid but honestly it felt more like ypu went thru each moment of bl2 story, i hoped based on the intro that you would get into how it felt to play a Lilith and what skills and build you chose
probably gonna get flak for it but in the first 2 games the siren's abilities never really impressed me much. at least maya's had a bit better use in the second but when I played the first borderlands I played as lilith I basically never really used it
not at all, your opinion is your own but i would say that It's amazing if you focus on it, with the right skills you can appear in the middle of a group with huge damage resist, dazing them all, drop them beofre they can respond then be gone again with the low cooldown before anyone can do anything about it, recover your entire health and shield whilst invisible and then repeat the whole thing. It's a super fun hit and run assassin style. Not to mention how great it can be out of combat or for straight skipping unnescessary enemies.

having the poor excuse of a siren in the character pool was always off putting for me in bl2, but now, you made me wanna get back to it.... bl1 lilith felt like a rougelite character, that actually could reach the absurd power spikes devastating the game balance and throwing it into gutter, making the player feel like a god with no excuses - i missed that in bl2 (and had it in pre sequel)
Lilith DID beat borderlands 2, Don't you remember how utterly marginalized and irrelevant the other vault hunters were made in 3?, I'm not talking about actual appearances although they are at that but just the story, The players don't mean jack anymore its Lilith and her adequate meatshields show

can you get to lvl 80? so you can fill every skill
You’d need 105 points to 5/5 all skills, plus the action skill
I think in terms of skill points, you get close to level 80 in BL1 anyway

Funnily enough, you still can fit a very simular amount of skill points since the T4's all allow for 5 points each.
There is one for Roland and one for Mordecai. Brick should be possible, but at this point I kinda doubt anyone would bother to make it.

Ain’t Russian or anything but it always ticks me off a bit when content creators misread some names - like the common ‘Lyuda’ for Lyudmila.

I literally started a Lilith play through like a week ago. Awesome video btw.
having the poor excuse of a siren in the character pool was always off putting for me in bl2, but now, you made me wanna get back to it.... bl1 lilith felt like a rougelite character, that actually could reach the absurd power spikes devastating the game balance and throwing it into gutter, making the player feel like a god with no excuses - i missed that in bl2 (and had it in pre sequel)

Lilith DID beat borderlands 2, Don't you remember how utterly marginalized and irrelevant the other vault hunters were made in 3?, I'm not talking about actual appearances although they are at that but just the story, The players don't mean jack anymore its Lilith and her adequate meatshields show
