Title: cyberdark deck profile! Sam: proceeds to show a cyber dragon deck profile with a small cyberdark package as a round about way of searching powerbond
@@ericbrandt5256 because there's literally nothing that can be done to make the Cyberdark archetype playable in a real game setting. Even this small package is dragging this deck down and reducing its options.
Just some pointers because I've used this in a tournament and it was a ruling nightmare. The 2nd effect of cyberdark realm is completely different from the 1st effect, meaning the "immediately" part of the text isn't forcing you to summon immediately after the search. In other words, you just get another summon that turn, but, as its a seperate effect it must be activated. Hence the immediately after THIS effect resolves, meaning the activation to summon again. Cybernetic Horizon MUST resolve before the trigger effects of chimera and herz are activated. So play horizon, play it all out, then choose the order of the trigger effects (one chain blocks the other). Cyberdark end can attack once with no card equipped to it, and once with 1 card equipped to it, twice with 2 and so on. The card states it has attacks equal to the cards equipped to it, but it doesn't state that it can't attack if it has no equip cards. Really confusing wording on these new cyber cards, explaining the rulings to new players made me sound like a cheat
Well, I mean it’s the sorta play style that Zane closer to the end of the series would have played more than likely. The CyberDark cards by themselves are pretty poopoo.

I’ve just tried this build out online. It’s pretty nasty if you go second. I’d build it in real-life right now but play-sets of Lightning Storm and Forbidden Droplet are very pricey for about $150 each, sheesh!
I would add 1 or 2 more copies of realm, that is one of the most important cards in the cyberdark engine so if that goes then your combo will basically go out the window
I have a deck profile that runs pretty consistent (once you get the hang of the deck, knowing the ins and outs) and it only uses the cyberdark monsters, reply back to this and I will list the deck’s cards
Having only one power bond in the deck is a bad idea because cyberdark chimera's effect doesn't activate if you don't have a power bond in the deck when you summon it, so if you drew power bond you can't activate it's effect which makes it useless.

What they don’t tell you is that in order for this deck to work you need cards in your hand to make these combos possible. It’s giving two interruptions, and you lose automatically!
Chimera has as an effect that your power bond (this turn) can also banish monsters from the GY as materials in addition to your normal hand and field materials
Hi Sam, great deck profile, thank you 🙂. As another way of playing the deck, would you please be able to do a cyber deck profile that turbo's out the 'buster lock'??
would it be possible to sneak a bls into that deck as a last option? and please explain why you dropped the cyberdark end dragon (too much material needed?)
MBT did a Ten Minute Testing for Cyberdark and Cyberdark End Dragon is still proven to be difficult to summon, even with a Dogmatika engine to dump the materials to the grave. Cyberdark End Dragon is just, unfortunately, a pain and a half to summon and isn't a good idea to build around
@@Al_Kabana Funny enough, before Union Carrier got banned, I had a A-to-Z deck. The biggest takeaway I got from it is that it is very much so a "win more" card. Very fun to play with and all but since you're usually summoning it beyond turn 1 or 2 and have to play the original XYZ Dragon Cannon, you're just kinda better off optimizing the deck for the easier to summon boss monsters and backing them up with interruptions for the opponent's turn. This is unfortunately the same case for Cyberdark End Dragon. You get on the field and you win. Which is great! But the process getting there is just... Isn't worth it, in my humble opinion. There isn't to discourage you from wanting to play the card cause you can using cards like Dogmatika Punishment, Nadir Servant, and the newer Cyberdark spells to dump the needed materials. After that, just power bond into the Cyberdark End Dragon.
There is one card I think is forgotten "cyber eltanin" that you can search it even with emergency since you cant normal summon or set. That has send effect and banishing any amount of light machine doesn't matter when you cyberload fusion.
The issue with it is that it wipes your entire graveyard. It's a good side deck option if you need the extra board breaking power and it can set up Cyberload fusion nicely, but it's very situational.
Well, the CyberDark side of Cyber Strike is less competitive, but the Cyber Dragon reprints are pretty good. Also, the Sacred Beasts structure deck is still used pretty widely as a Curious engine. Sacred Beast Eldlich is still a pretty good deck IMO.
Quick question concerning the first combo. Maybe I am dismissing something here but why do you go the complicated way to special the chimera with nachster instead of using the effect of realm to normal summon a cyberdark monster (the chimera in this case)?
to activate horizon you have to send 1 light or dark from hand to gy and one of the opposite from deck to gy. he uses it to get eternity into the grave for the protection
You can't actually chain block core with vier, if you look at the flow chart of how chaining works, if you activate a trigger effect, the other player will get the first chance to respond. I main cyber dragons and I wish this were true
I just remembered the return strat in yugioh that works with fiendish chain trap. The return card to hand after using it when needed. Its not bad for decks that currently lack effect negates. I just saw yosenju do it. I remember cards doing this before. I just don't remember which ones. But yeah.. it's not bad at all. A return from field when you feel like you don't need it in use anymore after you used it. As it stays on field.
I don't know if you are still doing the like thing, but I want to see how you would build a Magistus deck. It came along with Drytron so I don't think the deck got enough spotlight, so I would like to see one of the best players I know to build this deck.
Power Bond doubles the ATK which opens up for OTK, especially in a deck with monsters that can attack multiple times. Chimeratech rampage dragon with Power Bond; 2x2100 ATK with 3 attacks = 12600 dmg.
Power bond should be at 2 copies. If you draw it you lose access to your GY with Power Bond. And if you do draw it just pitch it for a copy that can utilize the GY through Chimera’s effect
@@OG-97 you can play one but if you open it it’s basically a brick if you don’t open enough cyber dragon monsters. With two power bond, you can open just core and one other spell and otk
Yes! The new Cyber Strike Structure Deck comes with most of the cards in this build and is an overall good deck to get back into the game. I’m on the same boat and picked up three copies myself. 👍
Hey, new player to the game who started to pick it up, just a question I'd like to ask: how does power bond allow one to banish the cyber dragon monsters from the graveyard to fusion summon chimeratech? I thought it only targets the field or hand?
I’m curious, all of the combo profile as I’ve seen ignores Chimera’s effect to send a cyber dark from deck to grave. Is there there’s something I missing?
I might not be fully understanding your question but chimera in a cyber dragon oriented deck focuses more on the power bond effect rather than the "send a cyberdark to the gy" effect. The goal is to make a double attack twin, rampage or cyber end to otk which don't require the use of cyberdarks.
@@Menckenperson It's handy in combo cyberdark decks where you can potentially get out cyberdarkness dragon (though it may not be favorable because it's susceptible to disruption). I think (last time I checked) control cyberdark relies less on chimera and more on cyberdark trio + traps.
Thats not really what i would call a cyberdark deck, kinda dissapointed with that profile. I own a comepetive cyber dragon deck already so i dont need a second one. Cyberdark itself can put up otk and even negates easy. Cyberdark end dragon first turn with a back up negate,no Problem. But this is cyber dragon with a small cyberdark engin. Sam pls make another one
during combo 1 cyber dragon herz going to the graveyard uses its effect to get cyber dragon nachster but a moment after you seem to use the effect again to get cyber dragon from deck to hand? is this possible? am i missing something?
Is FORBIDDEN DROPLET really a good card?🤔I think I'm missing something here I wonder what's the best way to use it, not just for this deck, but for other decks as well
Not an expert but maybe budget options like raigeki (limited to 1), harpies feather duster (limited to 1)/ cosmic cyclones/ or twin twisters, 3 forbidden chalice/ effect veiler/ impermanence or other side deck options. Even stuff like dinowrestler pankratops (limited to 1) might help. Hope this helps. Really depends on what you need and what you can work with since these cards aren't always live/ strong as storm or droplets.
I mean its fine to go for OTK. But in my Mind it defeats the essential purpose of the Cyberdark Monsters. Which is equipping other Monsters to the Summoned Dark Machines. Mh. It feels just like a Cyberdragon-Clone only with a few different Cards.
I love how almost every top tier deck has to cost $500 I remember back in 2017 the most my decks ever cost was between 75 and 250 now decks cost between 250 and 1500
@@sevensaske back in 2017 those decks rarely exceeded $350 and that included with the other expensive cards through still closer to $250 than to $500 for the average great or good deck in 2021
@@dcarnegie1992 ygo always had times where decks were really expensive and times where cheap decks were able to compete. However thats just a problem for us here in the TCG. In the OCG they get every card in multiple rarities right from the get go. In the OCG card value is based on its rarity which means that everyone is able to afford it since you can just play a low rarity deck instead of a high rarity one. Konami has to make TCG and OCG equal. Currently TCG players are treated as cash cows while OCG players get to enjoy the game.

And here I thought I wouldn’t see somebody arguing for playing 2 Garnets in 2021
Maybe but it’s the same premise as red-eyes fusion, loose access via Anaconda but people opted out playing more than 1 and just hope.
Wheres my ddd squad asking for an updated DDD deck
In what set can you get lightning storm and forbidden droplet in?
You cant add nachster from the deck with herz, its only "cyber dragon" while in the grave or field
Those three copies of lightning storm ocg got but I didn’t would of been handy hey?
Whats the best way to start the game again? Just 3 copies of the cyber dragon structure deck?
Yes! The new Cyber Strike Structure Deck comes with most of the cards in this build and is an overall good deck to get back into the game. I’m on the same boat and picked up three copies myself. 👍
what's a good alternative to predaplant verte anacoda as i want to build this deck but anaconda is really expensive rn
This might be late but verte anaconda got a maximum gold reprint though not sure what your price range is.
Hope this helps
I refuse to believe no one from konami test what they produce!
Whats up Sam ! Regards from Mexico bro !
Beautiful video. Thanks from Colombia
"it doesnt matter what it is as long as it is a prismatic rare"
Hey, new player to the game who started to pick it up, just a question I'd like to ask: how does power bond allow one to banish the cyber dragon monsters from the graveyard to fusion summon chimeratech? I thought it only targets the field or hand?
It's due to the effect of cyberdark chimera. It lets you banish monsters from your graveyard as well
I’m curious, all of the combo profile as I’ve seen ignores Chimera’s effect to send a cyber dark from deck to grave.
@@ghostsisterspookydogwood4360 May be a dumb question but I was asking if chimera’s effect activates when being sent to the grave for a link summon
@@Menckenperson ah. Yes it does. It's an optional effect.
@@ghostsisterspookydogwood4360 OK, I was just curious why no one was using the effect. Seems like a handy effect
@@Menckenperson It's handy in combo cyberdark decks where you can potentially get out cyberdarkness dragon (though it may not be favorable because it's susceptible to disruption).
I think (last time I checked) control cyberdark relies less on chimera and more on cyberdark trio + traps.
This dude chooses the most expensive cards and shoves them all in one deck 😭
The first combo doesn’t really work because cyber dragon herz can only search OG cyber dragon
Cap
Feel like I got attack with the mention of dogmatika punishment lmao I got otk by a deck similar to this in EDO Pro
Can you make an OG Pure elemental hero deck? Been watching GX with my nephew and he wants to play a good OG hero deck, he loves flare wingman.
how is playing around nibiru going to make the otk successful?
I'm about to go to my locals and see if they have cyber strike. Always loved cyber dragons. Loved cyberdarks even more. So badass
Hope your local isnt being scummy about it and charge msrp and not 15-17 per box
@@res8791 me too
Does Sieger still boost rampage if it was made with power bond?
Yup.
Since Rampage has more then 2100 attack, Sieger can still boost it.
during combo 1 cyber dragon herz going to the graveyard uses its effect to get cyber dragon nachster but a moment after you seem to use the effect again to get cyber dragon from deck to hand? is this possible? am i missing something?
He got Nachster with the spell Card (Horizon)
The first combo - you can’t banish material from grave for power bond. It clearly says from hand or field. Or am i missing something???
You’re missing chimera effect
You have Dingirsu in the extra deck. how is it possible to summon Dingirsu in this deck? I really don't know how. Can anybody help me with that?
Why Dingirsu? theres a break before him and no comment for him
You've gotta appreciate an explosive deck that doesn't give a flying flip about Nabiru.
Does it have to be the dark version ?
So, what is the purpose of the Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star here. Thx 😇
Is FORBIDDEN DROPLET really a good card?🤔I think I'm missing something here I wonder what's the best way to use it, not just for this deck, but for other decks as well
Easily one of the best negates in the game, if not THE best. It doesn't target and gives you the freedom to shut out potential responses.
What if you don't have levianeer or galaxy soliders
Levianeer def not needed but galaxy soldier is mandatory
@@dylangremory5750 it's also super cheap, so Galaxy Soldier shouldn't be an issue.
Noice...but I can't take my eyes out off this God tier hero playmat 😍
@TeamSamuraiX1 I hope the next deck you make is a Cyber/Roid hybrid deck with the new additions like Dragonroid and Rebirth Judgement.
The moment many people have been waiting for.
Any tips If don't have $$$ to triple Storm and Droplets?
I love how almost every top tier deck has to cost $500 I remember back in 2017 the most my decks ever cost was between 75 and 250 now decks cost between 250 and 1500
Totally not true, 2017 was the year of zoo, masterpiece and spyral, not to forget price of barrage, pot of desires, card of demise
@@hanspeter-fs4in best response ever if that was the case it would be easier for everyone
Can't wait 4 the swordsoul deck profile
Is this deck still viable, I'm new to the game and wanted to build this
Pretty good deck to play for fun.
Why does sam hypes up more than its needed the cali effect is more real with power levels and all
Cause he’s a Master click Baiter?
Very awesome deck Profile!!
Time to buy shock collars and a black puffy shoulder trench coat
hey can u make a cyber dragon deck, with minimum cyberdarks and no dragoon?
Any sub for lightning storm? 300+ for a set is kinda crazy.
Would love to see you make a X saber tri brigade deck for the current format since x saber is about control an tri are also about control an I mean gottens E call an revolt are basically the same card almost
Why 3 herz? I don't feel Im getting a lot of value out of it
Can we hope a cyberdark playmat? :/
