What zone or part of Oregon are you in? And is this from a potted or in ground fig? I’m in western Washington zone 8b and looking for early ripening figs that will produce here in wet PNW Washington zone 8b in ground. Thank you for your content and time.I would love to have a maple syrup flavor fig that would work for my area.
I am in the Willamette Valley -Zone 8b. Zaffiro will need a head start or a favorable microclimate to ripen for you. Try Biffaro Zeus for the Breba. It ripens much earlier and has a wonderful maple syrup flavor when left to hang on the tree. I have a tasting video on it.

Where did you get the Zafiro?
There are cuttings for sale on Figbid right now.
@@oregonfigs3314 How long did it take from cutting to grow fruit?
@@hamitfusha710 two years
How do you prefer to eat figs? I found this video as I was wondering how gigs with a drizzle of maple syrup might taste.
Sounds interesting - I want to taste whatever flavors are in the fig - this is one of the fascinating things about figs to me
