Nice review. I’d love to see your Campaniere tree.

Thanks Mike. If you check my video called, “Fig Orchard update - the hot weather is here!”, you will find my tree showcased 7:16-8:52 time frame. This was filmed on 7/17/24.
I purchased my one cutting on 2/20/19. That would make my tree in the sixth leaf.

And this is the reason figs are so amazing, even a single variety can change flavour based on how dried the fruit gets, and thaths even without caprification. I absolutely love my early varities for the simpel reason i'm often able to let then dry and shrivle up on the tree.

@@Khalinjai - This is why a tasting with figs ripened at different stages is import. Many tasting reviews are made up of only one fig and because the review is from someone with tens of thousands of subscribers people think every fig will tastes exactly like the one they see filmed.

@@joelleslie4657 - Some say they become sweeter after a couple of days in the fridge. This is not true. I do it because so many figs come on at the same time. I do like figs that are at the cooler temperature. You will NEVER get sweeter figs as they don’t continue to ripen after they are picked. The color change from red to brown is just how figs dry.
