thank you for this video! i recently got a clear vinyl raincoat that i now have to exchange cause i tried using a regular clothing iron, set to its lowest setting, with a protective sheet, and even that was enough to semi-melt and mar the surface of the material. this seems like a much safer option, and i'll try this with the next one.

Thank you for making this video. I purchased a vinyl cover for a window. Whoever packed it for shipping bent it twice then mailed it. I was not happy when I was told I had to keep it though I would be refunded. At least now this will not be wasted, and I now know how to remove the creases from folded vinyl! (To bad I didn't know this could be done before I asked for a refund).

Can you use a flat iron on very low heat passenger over the wrinkles quickly?

Large pieces simply leave out in the sun for 10 minutes save your blow dryers :)

That can work too, depending on where you are and how hot the sun is. The back seat of a hot car is another alternative.

I'm sure you can get it wet and wash it with soap. I haven't needed to, but it wouldn't hurt the vinyl.

I would test it before you do much, and set the iron at a low heat. You can melt the vinyl (what a mess) and it may also shrink up.
