It's "Super Trouper" not "Super Trooper". Super Trouper is the brand name of a line of follow spots (a type of stage light). Once you know this, the lyrics actually make sense: "Super Trouper beams are gonna blind me ... Super Trouper lights are gonna find me."

@@drbob528 I have become a huge fan of theirs too - in fact I fell in love with every single man in the choir, and I am a straight married Scottish woman. I found this fantastic choir completely by accident - looking for Let the River Run - and I couldn't believe how they sang that song. It was absolutely the best version I have ever heard.

There are several other superb gay choirs in the USA with listening too. I have just added Rutter's "Gloria" to my list here and hope to add more of my completed pieces as time permits. It's sung very well, but like some of your other songs, it's just a tiny bit too fast. At times it sounds a little bit frantic.
It's actually spelled Super TroUper, with a U, as in the brand of spotlight. Doesn't anyone actually fact-check or proof-read anything before posting?

Well, RUclips would've banned it if they were naked. Although having sung under hot lights with Out in Harmony, at Carnegie -- the one in Vancouver -- I felt like stripping down. :)
