this did not help at all.. the sound is not like clicking at all but a cyclical creeking per revolution. i did hear that clicking sound when i was adjusting the flange too tight and the clicking was very pronounce or loud.. after i loosen the flange, the clicking disappear but that cyclical creeking (not clicking) remains.. just to add, if no weight in the bike, no creeking sound. if i ride in it, i hear the sound, and while riding and i lean towards the fron where my weight is on the handle bars, the creeking sound also dissappear. i have a case that i been battling for 2 months now and still no help.

I think your creaking sound is coming from a very slight motion between the nylon 66 foot platform and the metal ski to which it is attached. We have found that a dry lubricant, DuPont Teflon spray, applied under the platform where the nylon reinforcement ribs contact the metal ski tube can reduce and even sometimes eliminate the creaking sound.

I had this creaking issue fix by going thru the spokes and tighten the loose wire strands.. there’s a few of these wire spoke and after tightening them, it is now very quiet. No more creaking.
