Somebody (I've totally forgotten who already) recommended I get a metallic raptor claw to use as a knife and that is THE BEST IDEA IN THE WORLD.

You should probably get an exacto knife. They're easy to handle and pretty precise, hence the name "exacto"
I have found that cutting the tape on the bottom and lifting the box off the goods works well for unboxing things myself. You are right, the styrofoam is rubbish but it has its uses. The model is gorgeous, even though it would be spendy i would love to see you get many more of these. =) Name it Blazerunner

Anytime I open a box I just use a regular kitchen knife. As for a name I'd suggest Carlos. Oh and get the Triceratops if it's you're preferred dinosaur.

I don't think an adult T-rex had feathers. It seems like an over reach of the idea that some therapods were feathered.
BIS, if you don't like sideshows' T-Rex then you should check it Rebors T-Rex... They're also a British company so you don't have to pay extra. :D

Why would a fully grown T Rex have feathers or down? I know most Dinos had feathers... but the large ones shouldn't have them... there's no purpose!

Hm.... could be... But it could've just had colorful skin. I stand by my opinion that a adult Rex shouldn't have had feathers.

They would use them for insulation from either cold or heat. Adult Yutyrannus had feathers and they were close in size to a T. Rex.
Another valid opinion. Makes sense too. I'm still not changing mine though :P
The theory that I support is that T rex had scattered proto-feathers and perhaps the males sported something much like a mane.
For the box opening knife you should get a Stattrak karambit tigertooth factory new, hopefully someone gets that reference so I don't seem like a complete idiot...

cool CARNOTAURUS Sideshow i wish i can have one too and i also think Sideshow Dinosauria should make Giganotosaurus and the SUCHOMIMUS ya but what ever i am happy that they made CARNOTAURUS , and i will buy Sideshow TYRANNOSAURUS REX , CARNOTAURUS , Spinosaurs and CERATOSAURUS because i was a big fan of sideshow Spinosaurs but Trex go first .

Just wanted to say I hate the feathered Trex, it hasn't any evidence to directly say it had feathers. The fact that relatives of his did doesn't mean he did. Trex loses a lot of intimidation factor with feathers and isn't cool anymore with them. Feathers are a no no
