Is it me, or is the so called dirt evenly spread over the carpet. Usually you dirtier carpet in the high traffic area and cleaner on the edges where people don't walk as much.

Did you sprinkle some sort of black powder onto the carpet. It came off way to easy.
Yeah….the complete coverage is suspect as well. That’s not how dirt works. This is likely carbon powder. It literally disappears as the water hits is, which means it’s being driven into the fibers.

When I did carpets for my former boss. Houses I did were DIRTY. The carpets would go from black to brand new or almost to its original state. Alway tell the customers that there will be a slight chance that the carpet won't be perfect. In case they try to avoid paying you for not "cleaning the carpet right".

I haven’t been cleaning carpets the for the longest but even I can tell that’s not deep seated dirt. Where he’s walking you can tell it’s rubbing in and getting deeper. Waaay too much steam, he only needed to do 2 passes and the second one should be light, just getting the last lines out and where was the line work? Looks like crap after
