    Museums are excellent things, but a man's greatest memorial are his children. Dale's legacy is on display here, and I imagine he's very proud.

    Me and the better half made two trips 800+ miles each on a 2006 Sportster to the Smokies and to see Wheels Through Time. Got to meet Chris on the first trip last spring and then met Matt and Andy on the second trip last fall. Wheels through Tme is a mecca for the American motorcycle enthusiast and Matt Chris and everyone there are very down to earth and easy to talk to folks. it was an amazing experience and one we will repeat in years to come.. Love what you guys do, keep it up

    Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 Tracy. The planes I was told about that someone I know that is an air craft enthusiast must've had Rolls Royce engines. They started exactly how that gentleman just explained. From what I just looked at it was the Merlin by Rolls Royce. It was the engine that powered the spitfire and mustang amongst others. Broke my foot last time I went to Maggie Valley. Wasn't able to get to the museum. hadn't made it back since.

    when i was 17 years old i went toa motorcycle rally at Skipton in North Yorkshire (NY). I saw a side valve Harley with a tank shift of george washington head on the change stick it was a light blue with a sidecar, on the back of the sidecar was the two exhaust either side with the top of the exhaust tubes like an open flower. It was spectacular i am now 72 this was the first harley i had sean and it has stayed with me, when i close my eyes i still see it.

    anything apart from Harley Davidson? is this a bike museum or a harley museum? wheels through time implies it`s about all bikes, I mean Jay leno doesn't just have farraris lol. Bikes have been around since the 1880`s HD i believe wasn`t established till 1909 , so where are the old bikes? I came here to see a variety of bikes through history from around the world, where are the Nortons, triumphs, enfields, BSA`s, indians, you should branch out a bit.

    • @wheelsthroughtime
      @wheelsthroughtime  Месяц назад +1

      Our museum houses only American made bikes. We have a total of 34 different marques on display. As Harley has dominated the American motorcycle scene since the 1930s, they far out-number other makes here. Thanks for watching.
