This has been my favorite in a while and honestly sometimes the better animes are the really short ones that deserve a good sequel. Sort of reminds me of a space Vietnam considering humanity being conscripted into a war and being treated as less then dirt. Now a VR game would be awesome!
Probably not everyone's cup of tea. The characters are flat and the story isn't cinema or award worthy, and in the case of Yakitori, simplicity works. I binged the series in one siting, it's worth your time.
