I have a feeling the angel, who I assume as well she's somehow related to Emi, is going to help them out to protect Alas Ramus. Maou made her out to be crazy strong so, that's probably how I can see how they get out of that situation and/or postpone it.
What a info dump for this episode. Still it is a bit odd to see an Angel save a Demon especially with how much they've been going to war with each other in this series. Curious on why she's hiding herself from Maou. Another romance seed has been planted.
given how the devil gave up and wanted to work at McDonalds than going back to his devilish ways characters breaking away from preconceived labels is pretty on point for this anime

The romance between Ashiya and Suzuki (Emi's coworker) was actually first hinted at in season 1 episode 9 when they were at a Sentucky
we finally getting maou's back story animated lets fucking goo allso chiho's remark of angels being the only ones who are asses to maou and Lucifer's laugh at it was great
fun fact: Gabriel's JP VA is non other than Takehito Koyasu the one who voiced our beloved Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Oh bro I totally saw that romance coming a few minutes into the episode, it just made sense lol and they’d actually be a nice couple, tho I’m curious if she ever finds out the truth about the gang since as of now Chi is only human who knows…..🤔 cause I’m still curious about the landlady, tho I’m not sure if she’ll ever make another appearance again
Ashiya and Maou stressed over finances and especially because of Lucifer and his pizza lol. Other than Jahy sama and this, I have also seen jokes about being poor in Jashin chan dropkick.
The demon seed Alas Ramus came from must have mana or something from Emi too. Also I enjoy hearing about the sephira and Tree of Life which reminds me of Date a Live. Huge date a live fan so always excited to hear about sephira etc.
I love the ship with Alciel/Ashiya and Emi’s friend. Chiho definitely loves Maou even if there’s potential feelings and progression from Emi. Emi is that anime “observer” or protector trope often seen.
The direction so far is great and there are rumours of many more seasons which I can definitely see since it would be good for the studio considering how popular this series is or was. The characters only look younger due to the character design which is fairly simple. It looks like a light novel illustration you would see and especially on the Kadokawa channel. It’s just whitefox has that specific character design they use in many of their productions

Well this was quite an episode and a we got more information. That Alas Ramus is quite important. If going what we know about life in by real life information. The Yesod is responsible for foundation of life tree. So the angels probably have some kind of power struggle of their own and having the fragment of life tree would tip the scales in their favour. Still wondering why the angel saved her and could she saw a future and though that Maou could unite the worlds and keep Alas Ramus safe. Could Emi parents be related somehow the angel. In s1 when she changes her form she looks more divine so could she have some kind of angel powers. Though I could be wrong.

Will be interesting to see how the fight the angels when they have limited power hear. Will they power up somehow or go the other world. It would be funny to see if they just decide to have table tenis match or something
I think Emi's mom was the angel that saved Maou. Also the lady that showed up at the amusement park is probably the same angel; and we never did get to see Emi's mom in Ente Isla in season 1.
it's 100% her family member whether mother or grandmother otherwise Emi being her mother has no correlation given the connection to Maou
@@AHBrandonReviews i can't wait for Emi to find that part out. There's some serious mother/daughter dynamics missing between them.
im leaning more on mother as like you said we never saw hers so it would work out. but im open to her mother having died off screen in a war or something that being like her grandmother so we still get the moment where she learns who she truly is sort of a thing
