Love the insight into traffic-related entitlement. Sometimes when I bike pedestrians get mad at me for blocking the crosswalk and I always ask em if they need more space

Funniest thing was when Aman had 4 seconds on the clock and just then realizes it's a 30 second game. lol Then, Aman made 19 moves in 2 seconds to win by checkmate. Astonishing speed.
Cycling actually has a lot of benefits: good for health, climate neutral, cheap but most places aren't designed well enough for cyclists. Best would be if pedestrians, cyclists and cars would be seperated as good as possible so less accidents and conflicts occur
The U.S. doesn't have great urban planning that could eliminate the need for cars, bicycles are definitely the better option, but you need for the shopping area to be central to the city that way the residents could live encompassed around it and travel less distance and accomplish the same task. Some countries are more Bicycle based, I believe Thailand uses more bicycles than cars

if they never had to throw themselves out of the road with bicycle and all,
just in order not to be killed by a car whose driver simply doesn't give a s**t.

You actually don't block a bike lane. You stop on car lane. Looks unnatural, but that's actually the law. If the bike gets in an accident because of a blocked bike lane, it's the cars full responsibility. The bike rider is right about beeing angry about car drivers not knowing how to handle bikes in traffic.
So you're telling me it's better to stop in a car lane where other cars are traveling quickly than it is to stop in a bike lane where there's like one guy every 45 minutes moving 10 miles per hour?

If the bike lane wasn't there, the car would still be stopped in the road, and if a car stops in a bike lane, which is usually only 1m wide, they are still blocking the road anyway. Generally, one isn't allowed to park on or obstruct any kind of roadway, however. True for all vehicles. Vehicles need to pull completely off of a roadway to park regardless of what kind of roadway it is. In this case, the car should probably have looked for a designated parking spot or turned into a private driveway. If a car is forced to stop on a roadway, they should be clearly visible and turn their hazards on.
@@Hirsutecyclist Aren't bike just replacements for shoulders on most roads, though? i.e. if the bike lane wasn't there, a shoulder would be? Most of the time if a car has to pull over, it's at least halfway off the road and into a shoulder or right of way zone.

Man, I love Aman but have not heard a worse take in a minute. I mean, for sure many cyclists are assholes, and the road system is not built with a clear definition of cyclist in mind, but that is not a reason to default to "the cyclist is always wrong". I'd recommend siding with "the person more likely to be injured"--so bike v car side with bike, bike v pedestrian side with ped--at least with no other information. Also bringing identity into it is an unnecessary right-wing talking point to include in what is otherwise a funny rant (if a bad take).

Bxc6, Bxd3!, if Qxd2 Qxc6, if Qc3 Qf5 and black will go down an exchange but has very powerful pieces. but trading queens with Bxd7 is still fine for white, but its not the best choice

i like your channel, you and eric are funny, but you are way off base on your tirade against cyclists. Motorcyclists and cyclists are the most vulnerable people on roads all over the world. A friend Dan Cox was killed on his bike by an HGV turning across a bike line in 2011... Yeah this random tirade is such a bummer, I hope I can enjoy your videos again
