My friend bought a FRT from RB and a month later he got a letter in the mail from them. He told me he threw it away and also said they can kiss his butt.

Then somehow got my cell # and called me the next morning. I hung up on them, then received that "official" letter the next week in the mail. They knew the purchase date from BDU somehow. Said some FRT's are considered machine guns and if I'm caught with it I can be charged.
They seized mine through my police department and made me sign a form saying I have no rights to avoid prosecution for an illegal machine gun....To avoid it effecting my job, I cut it in half, before giving it to them.
Hopefully they don't just ignore the order to return the stolen items. Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened. "Sorry we destroyed the machine guns as soon as we confiscated them".
Not really. While it was a well written and relevant to FRTs, at no time when the NFA mentioned was it called the infringement that it is. The whole case was based off the definition used in an infringing law.
