You are correct. It is fifi and not fifty. Also it should be JHUTI HAI TERI KASAM and not JHUTE HAI TERI KASAM. I am Konkani and word fifi is obscene in Konkani and hence when censor board came to know the Konkani meaning of the word fifi they removed the whole song from CID. By the way, GURU DUTT was also Konkani. Now I see that Instead of using word fifi, O.P.Nayyar could have re-recorded this song using FIFTY instead of FIFI and then censor board would have accepted it and kept the song in the movie. Now we have missed the whole song in the movie permanently. Well, it is too late now.
The song was remove from the movie with other sence. Devanad act as police inspector nd running like a lover boy for Vaheeda rehman.it looks so cheap.Hence censor took it otherwise nd the song was removed from the movie.

I would have simply loved to see Waheeda Rehman singing this beautifully sensual Geeta Dutt song composed by the one and only OP Nayyar. Simply wow!! Sonali sounds so much like Geeta Dutt, her voice is very melodious and clear. This song is a classic and I did not find anything vulgar in it to be censored out of the film. Look at songs by Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, today. In comparison, this song is pretty decent, those censors were way too strict and idiotic
