I bought the 10th anniversary set and as soon as it came in I actually started shaking a bit... and then when i opened it, I'm not afraid to admit i teared up and just i dunno... this was one of my favorite card games and i still play it with friends today
In Thailand we actually have a full reboot of buddyfight, we have a reprint of the old card set but with some different effects, and we call it newdrive format like in vanguard did back v format (so sorry if my English is bad. Im a mainly thai speaker)
Ok true. Officially it broke after ace. However, I feel DDD is when the game started to break because they were making homogenized worlds normal, which can be game breaking if not done correctly. In short, you’re right. It’s more like it started cracking.

In triple d the meta was still stable u had zodiac, gem clone, dragons zwei, sun dragons, and jackknife and even ancient world being somewhat alright. In x which happens before ace, everything was fine until chaos broke shit with chaos thunder empire copies but this was until the size 90 gear golem that got limited. Some cards took hits but things still went okay. It wasn’t until after ace the game became broken. In ace the meta was lost world and katana world because the new deck introduced abuse the katana world spell nullify which only costed lp when the deck in question in ace can make u gain a good amount of life making the card basically free, and lost world could be used to gain access to the power lost world cards while still having access to ur katana world cards.
If they want to bring the card game back they need a BIG rebalance because at the end of the series powercreep was Sky rocketing and most decks couldnt compete againts the power meta decks at all
Speaking of can someone please tell me why we never got buddy fight triple D Or the rest of buddy fight 100 in the dub I get it the dub is less compared to the sub people prefer sub I get it I don't care I just want to know why the people who want to watch it in the dub didn't get all of it like we get the full original buddy fight first season we get maybe one half or one quarter of buddy fight 100 we don't get Triple D they skipped that completely I have no idea why I want to know why we get buddy fight X and we get buddy fight ace what confuses me the most is why skip it like that is a valid question and I Would like an answer So if anybody knows can you please tell me
@@dreameater4real The ironic twist is when I look it up on Google all I get is they mysteriously for some reason didn't do it no I'm actually serious that's Googles explanation and then it comes back for a buddy fight X and everything else in my opinion it's still stupid and just like yugioh with GX and 5D I wish they would go back to a Earlier Season/Series and dub it
I mean define dead. It’s limited to just Thailand for now. However, they are rebooting the game like with vanguard, and with that erases the decade long power creep. I think they are doing controlled testing in Thailand and if it does well they may rerelease the game.
My advice. proxy the cards and get people into it. Like take some trial decks off the Buddyfight fan wiki, which thank God still exists, and start making decks. You’d be suprised at how easy it is.

From what I've heard, Bushiroad isn't really responsible for Buddyfight New Drive; rather, the Thailand distributer was given permission to do this

I found buddyfight way too late. I couldn't get into the game and that makes me sad.
