My 2nd Dan Kata. Had to stop doing it because of a very bad right knee. No stability what so ever and painful. Got new knee in Nov 2020. Been doing a Kata a month since starting with Heian Shodan. My 2nd year doing this. I was really shocked on how out of shape I was. This month was Kangku Dai. And it kick my butt after doing it five time. Plus Kihon and Bunkai of it. November over. And will end the year with Kangku Dai. Needs much work. Then in January onto Gangaku. Oss.
Bueno el kata Gankaku parece que este campeonato fue en el 2006, el campeonato del 2023 JKA fue ganado con un Gankaku tiene una peque diferencia técnica, antes de pegar la patada se baja un poco el centro de gravedad flectando un poco el pie de apoyo. En 2023 la patada sale con la rodilla de apoyo semiflectada.

And I use a 12 ft paint pole with 18 roller frame for ceiling and big wall. Jo Staff It’s all Aikido and Martial Arts.
