  • This is a small, bedtime Yoga flow to help you sleep. Join me in a calming, gentle flow for a deeper and sweeter sleep.

    I am new to yoga, 30 years old and suffer from Fibromyalgia, and Insomnia. This was fantastic. I feel so relaxed and so good. Thank you. Your voice is so soothing my gosh! Your probably lovely to be around, lol! I thank you for making something easy for beginners who can barely move they are in so much pain.

      I'm so sorry someone as young as you I X afflicted with this invisible, parasitic disease. I'm glad you are finding relief. This yoga definitely helps and I highly recommend Teresa Tapp and using magnesium oil as well. Best wishes.

    Hi.
    I was looking for effective yoga for deep sleep since many years but was not getting sleep at all & most of the nights I was almost awake until I discovered this video Siya Yoga for deep sleep.It is concise,very easy to perform,very effective & icing on the cake, she is very sweet & gentle. I could get deep sleep on the first day itself when performed.

    Loving it. Doing it every night as a new routine. I only wish she had waited for the whole exercises to be completed, like guiding us through all body parts in the last one ect.

    i have dry eyes and that is causing me to lose a lot of sleep. i'm hoping this helps me to sleep. thank you, sylvia for uploading this video.

      That must be a frustrating. Do you know what the cause of the dryness is? Do you sit in front of a computer or screen a lot? I heard that coconut or castor oil is really helpful. There is also "Eye Yoga" which you can try: ruclips.net/video/PRwXuRIR3Co/видео.html... And I've looked into it a bit for you and I found this video, too: ruclips.net/video/lxhLX8p-qr4/видео.html. I really hope this info, along with the bedtime routine, helps you get some well-deserved rest, Zeref!

      i used to spend a lot of time with gadgets, that's why i got dryness. thank you for replying. i will look into the yoga u mentioned. i heard from a person in the net that his eyes returned to normality by doing yoga postures such as sirasana, sarvangasana and surya namaskar. he felt improvement within a week and was cured in a month. i am quite fat so i don't know if i should attempt them. i can't get the 2nd and 3rd step right, i guess i need more flexibility for them. again thank you very much, i practiced some steps and i will do them beforebedtime tonight, hope it works out for me.

    I'm an absolute beginner at yoga so some (alot) of these stretches were difficult but even doing them with my limited ability felt nice.

      Advanced Plow Pose can be extremely (and surprisingly) calming. It's one of my favorites to unwind and relax. I am glad you enjoyed it too, Annie! You're very welcome.

      Oh, no - how annoying. Thank you for letting me know, I had no idea ads were playing. I looked into it and it seems Google/RUclips changed a few things regarding ads (frustratingly), where they can randomly display "personal interest ads" for the users... but I've made some changes in the settings and hopefully they don't play at all. If they still do, you can always download Adblock : adblockplus.org

    now here is the deal, how do you practice when your ankles are in constant pain and cant handle the weight? do you force them?

      Hi, Victoria... do you know the specific cause of your ankle pain? You can still practice Yoga. There are many styles of Yoga you can chose from... Restorative or Yin Yoga are both beautiful (I'm posting a Yin Yoga video soon.) You can also strengthen the ankles slowly with a mindful strength-building practice, depending on your situation.       the ankle pain actually eased a lot now that i have been practicing, however i am now struggling with the lotus pose preparation and almost damaged my knees to the point where i had to stop practicing for few days before i realised that very few videos actually tell you how to get ready for it, can you please some video that would help?

      Victoria, whenever you are in poses like lotus or have your knees bent, always flex the toes (flex them upward) to protect the ankle and knee joints. Also, don't forced advanced poses if you ever feel subtle pinching or discomfort. Listen to your limits and mindfully move your body - thats part of Yoga... It's not about attaining a "perfect posture." As long as you connect with yourself and lovingly accept where you are at, you've already attained a major part of the aim of Yoga! :)

      Absolutely! You can lay flat on your back and hug the knees in to the chest instead.

      Hi Shilo, you can easily replace the plow pose with a biq squeeze. Lay flat on your back and bring your knees into you chest instead.

      That's okay, just be sure to use your hands as support. You can modify the pose by keeping the legs straight, using stacked pillows and slowly bringing the tips of your toes toward the pillows. (As shown here with a chair: www.wildmind.org/images/yoga/22.jpg)

      No worries, you can try the pose on solid ground or simply skip it and give yourself a squeeze by holding your knees in towards your chest... (It also gives a great stretch for the spine and has comforting effects.)

      Hi, Ana. If you have back problems or if your mattress is not very firm, it's possible that you can cause harm to your back/neck. You can practice this session on your mat instead.

      Hi Javaid. Usually you should give at least 1-2 hours for your body to digest before any Yoga practice, especially with inversions.

      Haha, I got this one at an outdoor market, but I've also seen the same inside Indian/Himalayan shops. Maybe you can also find it online. This one has Ganesha on it. Hope that helps!

      just be kind and gentle with yourself. don't force any poses and look into modifications. props are a wonderful thing to have nearby. just go slow and be safe.

      Yes, exactly what justletmelisten243 said. Take your time, breathe into the sensation and allow the muscles to go as limp as possible. If anything is ever too intense, gently ease out of it. I'm happy to help with any modifications or alternatives to a pose.

      No, I don't recommend doing this on a lumpy bed. You can do it on your mat next to the bed, and then just crawl onto the bed for Shavasana ;)
