With that half fold mode, I feel that samsung should have a camera mode or a setting to off the screen after set amount of time of no screen touch when u take a timelapse/video in the half fold mode
Great videos on the Z Fold 2. I just ordered the phone and will be getting it next week. So excited. Sad to see my Razer 2 go but so excited for this phone.
So nice to see a brand take time and think through their design like Spigen. I gave used their cases on my last two galaxy phones. I love the feel and variety and they work so nicely.
My friend got the Microsoft Duo and it just makes me want to get this fold even more now. I heard the Fold 3 should be announced sometime in August so I'm gonna wait and hope its a great upgrade.
So, I had the LG Viewty like a decade ago...and this reminds me of it. At the time it had the first "proper" touchscreen and was a camera/phone hybrid...it was a bit rough around the edges, didn't excel particularly in some areas, but a few years later we now have a "standardised" smartphone design regardless of who makes it. Just makes me do a bit of a wait analysis if I need this NOW or wait a year until they release the MK. II version or something
I've had the phone for 8 months as well and it's also been my daily driver. Don't have that $90 Spigen case....just using the $20 thin fit one and it's done the job just fine. Don't have any scratches on either of the screens or casing. The one big downside of the Slim Armor Pro is the hinge cover. When you have the phone folded open you can't lay it flat and if you want to use this with a phone mount that has a built-in charger, in your vehicle, the bump with the hinge will prevent your phone from wirelessly charging.
@@chisomodimmegwa3479 I still have the Fold 2. Mine is starting develop those micro fractures along the crease. You have to hold the phone in the light to be able to see them but they're there. You can definitely see them when there's anything white being displayed on the screen. I have Samsung Care and I'll probably contact them to have the screen replaced but wanted to see the specs on the Fold 4 first. The ZF3 didn't seem like a very big upgrade to me.

I took the factory screen protector off and put on a matte anti-fingerprint protector..much better..I think I actually use it folded more than open bcuz I can use one hand..really don't use the multi-task feature often..but glad I have the option..built-in S pen and better camera and this phone would be perfect (for me)

It's very telling that the only people complaining about the crease are the people who have NEVER used the phone in real life. It takes 10 seconds playing around with the phone to see that it is completely invisible head on when you don't have a bright light behind you, and if you do have a bright light behind you the glare on any screen is annoying so its no more annoying than a normal phone.

I love this phone! Definitely the coolest phone I've ever owned and enjoy flipping it open any chance I get. I got the Spigen Tough Armor case for mine which is pretty similar to yours. I like your case for the simple fact that you can clean the debris off of the hinge easily by just flipping up the hinge protector. With mine, I have to completely remove the front piece of the case to clean the hinge of debris (mostly pocket lint). Great review! 👍

I've been using the Tab S7 ever since it came out and have everything needed to put a video together - just haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. There's been some great software updates in the meantime so I'm glad I waited and I always value long term reviews more than anything. I hope to have a video out on it soon!

Mine gets so hot with the Spigen case on it. Performance wise. It can be very very terrible especially cause of how hot it can get. I rarely unfold it. Maybe 4 times a month. I bought an iPad 2021 for productivity and gaming.
Just a note about something you can mention... I have shaky hands due to a liver problem and the "Interaction and dexterity" options have helped me greatly. I used to have dozens of mistaken taps due to my shaky hands, but the options allowed me to set the duration of a tap. Changing it to 0,2 seconds has eliminated the mistaken taps. I have searched RUclips for anything explaining these option more than my playing with them has done. I know I can't be the only one with shaking hands especially if you consider the number of people with Parkinson's. I would suggest or ask you to cover those options to help others with similar issues. Not sure if it is a Z fold 2 only solution or more common with all Galaxy phones.

12:20 just wanna say, i have a note 9, and trade in on the samsung store took it down to under 800, so, take advantage of those trade-ins! also, using the samsung store app, currently takes an additional like 5% off itself, as well as the the discounts he listed on top of that.
The only thing is... With a phone that looks this good, it would KILL me to put anything other than an ultra-thin case on it. I get that it would be minimal protection, but the tougher cases add so much bulk and make the phone look a little ugly.
My biggest issue was the front screen. It's too narrow. I want a normal smartphone front screen, that can open to a tablet when I want it to. I don't care about the price.
