- Love this track, sad yet peaceful. Getting the melodica section right took some work but with clever EQ'ing and pitch shifting I was able to achieve a sound somewhat like the original.

"Sad yet peaceful", because it's the moment in the game where Tidus face total acceptance. The acceptance that Zanarkand is gone, all his past his gone, all his hopes too. Accepting reality especially when you refused it so hard till that moment, is very difficult, there is so much sadness, but at the same time there is no more struggle, a strong sensation of peace. What a masterpiece is this game.

Wandering Flame is my favorite song of all time.
It’s so melancholic and beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad rendition of it, and yours is absolutely brilliant.
This made me tear up from sheer nostalgia - thank you for sharing such a nuanced cover! Your take on the melody toes the line between peace and melancholy, so much so that they start feeling like one and the same.

I rediscovered this today after I first heard it in Madseason's last video, and I am as moved now as I was then. Especially the middle part to me really conveys that feeling of being lost, and remembering good times.

Never heard this tune before. It's so damn soothing. The quality of the performance and the mixing is seriously good. The way the notes sort of.. swim into each other due to the dynamics (if you know what I mean) is hard to achieve unless you know what you're doing.
