Is it one like the ones you can see on big concerts? I take it not because they must be expensive as hell but I hope you give more details on the new piano. What did you not like from your current piano? Even in this recording it feels like heaven 😂
Thank you! It's the smallest Steinway, so it's not like the ones you see in big concerts haha, but it has that amazing quality of the brand! My current piano gets out of tune all the time, has some weird notes that sound too loud / too low / too strident, it's hard to play really pianissimo (if you play too softly, then there's no sound), so I have to try to play louder the notes that I know will sound softer, and try to play softer the key I know will sound louder by default lol. Besides, every year at least a string is broken and I have to call the technician all the time 😭 During the first years I was quite happy with the piano, but lately I just feel I need a piano with a better machinery that responds well to what I envision and that emits a more beautiful / harmonious sound!
Okay. I have learnt 15 video game songs on piano for a year, never bothered learning sustain pedal since I play on digital and low volume. I just hold it down without lifting. Guess I'll start learning on this piece. I can copy your fingers.
And also I'm no expert like u, I've only been playing for a year but from what it looks like, this piano piece is possibly the best piece to learn how to start using sustain pedal don't u think?
