I have a system a bit like yours for my ink swatches but not quite as sleek. I used a solid stamp of a flower and wrote the names of the inks underneath. I did not think of using my sponge applicator. I rarely use coloured inks for edges so I don’t have an opinion on that. The clear washi drawers look like a wonderful solution for the cubes. Hey Jeannine 🌸 I really like the idea of a solid stamp, a flower would be lovely... I did the sponge applicator because I don't have a solid stamp and I do apply inks with those a lot so it would be a good way to see what they would look like when used in my 'usual' way. I will keep an eye out though for a more solid stamp to use for this. I could pop that onto the back of each of the tags. Thanks for popping by the channel today lovely. xo
I ordered the new Pink Fresh inks the day they came out, 3 or 4 weeks ago and they are being delivered tomorrow! So I have all, except brown, but I guess I do need them too! Anyway, I have a room full of stuff and almost need a full house. I love your storage but I will share my way…I found these metal 8 in long structures that have hooks to hook onto a shelf, and there are 4 or6 hooks on the bottom. I arrange in color rainbow style the sets in the original plastic holders, so they are hanging. I had them on the side of a cart, but may move them to a metal shelf. These have been great to hang scissors and some other items to keep handy. I really enjoy watching your videos, and love your accent Gwen. ❤

💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 I do the tag system too, the only addition would be a solid image stamp as well because some inks preform better than others on that.
Hmmmm yes.... I do need a stamp that has a more solid image on it. Thanks for the advice!
forgot to add, because I do a lot of colouring with my stamps, I mark the pads with alcohol-safe or water-colour-safe stickers too so not second guessing myself each time.
Ohhhhh ok... How can I tell which ones these are??? @@ChelleBeeby I really need to learn more about the different kinds of inks and what to use each type for 🙃 Generally I use clear embossing powder over the top of them all if I want to colour them with copics.
@@CreatedByGwen ok, so momento is made for copic colouring and most colourists will use that. Stazon is great for watercolour, but never use copics, you will destroy your markers. Recently (like in the last 5 years) a lot of companies have released "HYBRID" pads which are good for both. It should say on the label on the back, but as I don't want to read that all the time I just add a little dot to my pads - yellow for alchol and blue for water - so at a glance I can see.
If you're ever faced with a pad that you just have no idea, stamp and let dry, then run a spare (I always have one just for this reason) blender pen (the name really is misleading) over it and just a paint brush with water, see which smears, if neither do, it's a hybrid and can safely be used for both. If the water smears, only use for alchol and vice versa.. is that making sense? Having to heat emboss everytime I want to colour would drive me batty - unless it's the look I'm going for I don't. Sorry.. really not good at explaining things.
I'm also pretty sure if you google the name of the pad, somewhere in the info it will tell you what it's good for.
That makes a lot of sense, I see what you're saying. You explained it well. I looked these up and they are Dye Inks. Funny you say about the embossing, I really like that look so I do it a lot, but yeah, it's an extra step and time for sure.@@ChelleBeeby
