I have just found out about these things and I love them! I hate bulbs, hate dark rooms, and love sunlight! If I had my own house, I would have these things everywhere. :) For me, the best part is that you get light all day when the sun's up, but when the sun goes down they naturally go dark, which is what I want.

One square meter is around 1 kw. What is the efficiency of your system if you don't mind to disclose?

Neat. You could probably screw a few hooks into the ceiling and hang solar charging lanterns for whatever use at nighttime.

What if you wanted to dim it during the day? Is there a lens or something to seal out the daylight or is just always on.

we installed one in bedroom, it has been a headache to me. I feel my ears burning at night and day time. I couldn't sleep well. I couldn't believe either, as we spent lots of money on it, try to think it is good, so I moved in a while later, believe nothing will happen, but same feeling happen again. right now I am sitting here typing, my ears really not comfortable, like been heated by heater, I am not sure if anyone has same experience, I try to google any information, but none. I personally believe there is invisible energy there, especially I meditate a lot, that s why I feel more sensitive than anyone else. We had one solar light in bathroom, it is awesome though!

Does not work in the night. I prefer solar panel and and use sun's e energy that way very cheap

it's about a 10 year return of investment compared to a LED lighting solution, which you cannot do away with anyway.
That's not considering the installation costs.
I suppose it's not a choice of saving but preferring natural light in the house.
Or maybe we need to do something with our money, no one wants to save it to build a gold plated coffin. :P
