Hii Romny and Diana, Do you think Camva will work on their video editing features and make it more fulfilling. Like a good "Keyframe" feature is the need of the hour! (If they want to work on video editing features) Or should I start learning other versatile app like Davinci Pro, for my future YT channel plan!?
I think (Canva) would eventually be up their video editing features. But it’s true that at the moment their platform is not ideal for longform video editing. If I were you I would look into platforms like CapCut or Adobe premiere pro.
Thanks for the breakdown on this Ronny! It is so exciting. I am developing a digital greeting card company. The cards are all being created in Canva, so will we be able to then add the feature that our members will be able to go in and edit the cards if we integrate Canva into our system?
Hi 👋 I don’t have an answer to your Q at this point, but what the Design Editing APIs promises seems close to what you described from what I understand.
I wish the apps didn't drop all the way down to the bottom of the side nav bar below my project folders when I use them. I wish they had their OWN navigation once I use them. Pin them to where I want them. I hope that is what it means.
Good point! One thing you can do, is to leave the apps you use all the time open, so they remain pinned to the sidebar (it will still be at the bottom though).
I would like for the magic media to be more allowing for expression. For example-- It allows expression for certain celebrities like Biggie Smalls doing whatever is specified, but when I type in Sigourney Weaver holding a little girl, I get back the response: "sigourney weaver may result in content that doesn't meet our polices." What's the difference between Biggie Smalls and Sigourney Weaver?
But how is this different from what they have now? App developers already get paid for their apps per usage, what is new? They will not be available for EDU and FREE, but for PRO and Team.
As far as I know this program is already ongoing. I know that Canva had paused it because they already had many affiliates and they were trying to clean them up. So I don’t really know if it will restart any time soon for new Affiliates.
No idea what the tools are for Canva users. No idea what a Canva app is. I've been using Canva for years. This video is super murky as far as its message.

Canva is a very easy to use design software, I hope that in the future I can use canva to more easily create animation effects comparable to AE!

I thought it was impossible to ask you to reproduce famous people. But I might be wrong. It might work for some of them but not all of them.

That’s not correct App developers are not currently paid by number of usage. They can definitely monetise but by bringing people to their platform.
