I have a Cricket Dream 5G and was watching a RUclips video yesterday and it all of a sudden crashed and went off. It doesn't come on by holding power and it doesn't acknowledge the charger being plugged in like it normally does when its off. My phone is only two days old it was at 47 percent battery so I plugged it in the charger block and cable it came with. The phone was still up and running. About 25 to 30 minutes later I picked up the UMX:U696CL Android device and it felt really warm almost hot it would say. But curiously the device was shut down and there was no charge light indicator on red or green. I unplugged the c3 cable from the port took the back off and removed the battery (a UBT23OO 2300mAh 3.85v Li-ion). After allowing it to cool down for several minutes I tested the battery and it reads 4.05v. The phone was not dropped at all nor did it get wet in any way. I'm thinking something in the hardware operating system fried out. What say you? ..

My phone will turn on but I just can’t make no calls out or receive calls it just keeps saying connecting but then nothing
